Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An overly priced, under flavored waste of a cafe. The restaurant was busy the day I dined there, but the wait staff kept up ok. The croque madame I ordered was unable to be altered (swapping a second Gouda roll in lieu of blue cheese)...which was the first issue. The portion size was pathetic for the price. No substitution for side and the waitress forgot my drink order. I had to go find the waitress to pay. Not a place I will frequent again.More

We thought it would be good because it was busy and we were right. Wonderful hospitality, delicious food! The simple breakfast amazing anything but simple. Apparently the Israeli's know, according to harsh reviews others don't know when they see and taste a good thing. Can't...even find anything comparable in the States.More

I went at 730am (when traffic was light) and didn't get my breakfast in front of me for an hour and 10 mins. Partially because the kitchen didn't open till closer to 8am (would have been nice to know) and partially because 'who knows' ?...There just didn't seem to be enough tables occupied for it to have taken that long. Anyway, the simple breakfast was pretty decent. Some more bread and dips would have been nice. The muesli seemed OK (I wasn't interested). The salad was delicious as was the omlette and the cheeses that came with it. Food was definitely good enough, but the service, though decently attentive, could have been faster. I wouldn't make plans as it may take longer than expected to get your food.More

The salad was drenched in a cream sauce. Nothing enjoyable about that salad. The only thing I enjoyed was the whole wheat bread. My wife had the “breakfast simple morning”, and her comment(s) were the eggs were so so and the the other items that...came with the dish were nothing special. Definitely not worth the price. We had higher expectations.More

Terrible place, not worth the money. Expensive and not tasty dishes. We ordered a lasagna that arrived cold, the waiter took for heating but still was not worth it. In short not to enter.

I walk past this place all the time and there is always a line of people waiting to get in. Today there was none so I went int. I wish I had not done so. Waited for ages between each item. The coffee came first...wo I had to drink it cold. The sandwich was mediocre and the cake downright unpalatable. The bill was 103 shekels and the table I was given most uncomfortably squeezed into a spot where several crossings took place. Never again but still, I wonder why people like the place?!More

In spite of the bad reviews we saw we decided to give this place a try. We ordered a profiterole that they claimed is their flag dish. It tasted bad with dough we could barely cut through. The manager was very rude, basically told us...it's our fault we don't like it and tough luck. Never experienced such rude service in Israel. Stay away, there are plenty of other great places in Jerusalem.More

What a mess. The place is filthy, it needs urgent maintenance, the barmen are confused and in disarray, the toilet a war zone. For all the hype and PR, this is one place I'm not coming back to. The croissants are OK, by the way.

Been there for breakfast, everything was tasty, good selection of desserts, service was quick and efficient. The place is small, but extremely popular- sometimes lines with 2 hr wait, including take away, to avoid it try to come before 9am. High, but reasonable prices.

I'm a regular in this place... The best place in Jerusalem to have pastries and fresh pasta! Great service and the food is always fresh and tasty! The best desserts in the country by far! Amazing work by Keren and Itzik Kadosh. אני קבוע בקדוש....מגיע לשם בשביל הקינוחים המושלמים ופה ושם לאיזה פסטה כיפית :)More

The food and service are great The price are very high The only problem is that all cakes are with butter so if you have any issues with that you’ll find NO other option 😒
