The food is good, but the prices are a more expensive than one can expect, maybe due to the location. Few options for vegetarians, but nice traditional food for meat eaters and grill lovers.

We came here after a museum tour and we asked our cab driver for a recommendation for food around Agrippas street. He suggested this place, called his friend at the restaurant to get a table ready for us and drove us directly there. The place...More

Sami is located in the shuk/machaneh yehuda market. The interior is about as inspiring as a cafeteria, including the lighting. But you do not go there for the decor. You go for the food. This is a traditional Israeli "Steakia" where the food never stops...More

This place is situated in the heart of the city, very close to the Mahane Yehuda market (recommended). All their dishes are great, but the most amazing dish you will ever try is their goose liver. It is to die for.

Who enters the restaurant will not be disappointed. Get a lot of small plates with salads. Price a little expensive but dishes huge. One serving is enough for a couple people. Very good meats

As an Israeli I recommend to anyone who visits Jerusalem to go to Sami's near the shook. It is informal, to the point (good food), and you never know who you will meet. It is one of the great introductions to Israeli society. Pull up...More
