For New Year's Eve we went to Mala Bistro in the Ein Kerem neighborhood – a beautiful residential neighborhood. We'd been to the restaurant 18 months before, and it was good then, but not great. It was much better this time. It has a cozy interior. Appetizers Salad with Halumi Polenta with truffle oil, mushrooms and asparagus Beet salad (complimentary)... More

A very nice restaurant, tables out on the sidewalk and inside. Located in an old classic stone house on the main street. Well made basic food, very esthetic.

Was here earlier in the month when we were a group visiting our kids in the high school program up the hill in Tsuba. Wanted a nice dinner, off the property and Mala was more than food - it was a way to reconnect with the teens. The atmosphere was excellent - room is nicely decorated and noise level was... More

OMG for the first time in my life I have understood the difference between a cook and a... More

Very good food and very generous portions. I went with my son and he liked the classic burger. I had the Spaghetti Ali Olio, which was one of the best I had, with wide spaghetti, and very rich in flavor, including goat cheese. We shared a Haloomi salad which was ok+. We received Polenta with mushrooms and asparagus, on the... More

You have to try this place. The flavors are out of this world... Incredible, delicious! Service is perfect and even provided water and bread + sauces for free. Very pleased. Prices are very reasonable, I'd even consider it cheap for the great food.

We live not far from that place and likes to go for breakfast and dinners. If you want to feel like at home, to have a beatiful veiw and make interesting walk trip after - Bistro Mala is your place. Fokacha, dips, meat (!!), salats, interesting recipies and fresh ingredient - always.
