I haven't eaten here--though from what it looks like, they don't need help in that department. I'm here to say that the buildings history and art exhibits are wonderful and worth visiting. It wasn't exactly what we were expecting: an insightful exhibit from one of...More

Tucked behind bustling Yaffo Road and the light rail is the Anna Ticho House. A renown artist whose husband was a famous ophthalmologist Ticho recreated their Viennese heritage in a wonderful house surrounded by a garden full of trees and flowering bushes. Along with the...More

A typical Israel brunch - eggs (any style) with all the trimmings. The eggs cooked well, however the accompaniments portions were too large for one person and could do for two, as a result there was a lot of waste. After brunch stroll through this...More

This is a location with a very special history. The food served at Beit Ticho is kosher but some of the dishes are quite boring. Starters on the other hand are very nice. Friendly service and prices are moderate. Live music in the weekends!

I have mixed feeling in writing this review, especially since I really want to give this place the benefit of the doubt. The atmosphere is wonderful. We visited on a Tuesday night, which happens to be a special wine, cheese, and jazz night there. We...More

Beit Ticho (Ticho House) was truly an oasis of calm in busy Jerusalem. The atmosphere is laid back and we ate outside in a garden patio. Even though it seemed that there were many diners (lots of large groups), it never felt crowded or overwhelming....More

While both our fish were overcooked and underflavored, I still enjoyed this restaurant. The restaurant itself is wonderful - an old art house. The outdoor seating was gorgeous but we did not dine outside that evening because it was too chilly. Indoors, each table has...More

Great location. Wonderful atmosphere. We sat outside and listened to the jazz band. Tuesday night there is a buffet w jazz band which would be the best combination. Wish we knew about buffet which starts at 8:30. Didn't realize until dinner was nearly over. Salad...More
