We enjoyed a good dinner on the balcony of the restaurant. The salads at the beginning of the meal were above average, which is quiet hard to find in Tel Aviv . The kids got their orders fast. Excellent sea view. This is no tourist trap restaurant.

You can find as good foor elsewhere arround, but the location and the views are excellent. Right at the south corner of Jaffa slot park, and next to a great beach. Babai 9the owner) is certainly a character. Try to make him tell stories... Come on sunset.

Had been recommended by friends to dine at Babai & The Sea. We went for lunch. A glorious day. But we should have known when the taxi driver wanted to drop us off at another nearby restaurant. Babai was totally empty. Literally, we were the lone diners. Half the items in the menu weren't available. So we had shrimp on... More

We waited 20 min for somebody to say us hello and sat beyond a dirty table, salads was a medium quality, meat (kabbab) was't and we ordered fried fish wis no taste too. Service was terrible, we ordered sprite and didn't get glasses, only bottles, everything we had to ask: salt, pepper, napkins the only one reasone maby to come... More

Reservation was honored . View was lovely. We were so disappointed with this restaurant. We were 7 people and one person was never served. She eventually cancelled her meal. Fish and shrimps were good. Service and communication was very bad. This was a most unfortunate experience and the ownership and staff did nothing to try to make things better.

This restaurant serves generous portions of dishes. My wife and I ordered fish, as entrance we had a dozen of little salads and pita, plus freshly squeezed lemon juice with mint leafs (limonana). We will come back. Lovely view of the sea as cherry on the sundae!!! Plus the price is more than reasonable.

Excellent location above the beach. Subdivided into a place protected from sea breezes and an open porch facing the sea and shaded. The landscape extends open heart and appetite. You can sit down just to drink beer or wine to snack or eat a full meal of seafood, fish or meats. We arrived a couple without prior reservation, at early... More

about a kilometer south of The Old Man & The Sea in Jaffa. I was trying to find The Old Man & The Sea, but I walked along the beach and missed it, what I did find was Babia & The Sea and it was wonderful. I saw The Old Man & The Sea on my walk back and it doesn't compare to Babia & the Sea. Better ambiance, less crowded and no tour bus' Babia has a far better view and I'm glad I found it. Seafood was great, salads were never ending and delicious
