Went there for lunch. The schnitzel, as usual, was great. The Caesar salad was very good too. The service was very good and kind. Bottom line, recommended.

Cozy restaurant, perfect for a quiet date, dinner with friends, colleagues or family. Not the best spot for music, preparty and warm-up before a night out. The food was really good, and I did like the schnitzel. Service was average, not bad, not good.

After a week of Israeli food at great restaurants , we were looking forward to something European fir a change and noticed the reviews on this restaurant. Firstly get over the surly and supercilious staff. Secondly expect multiple service errors , before you get the food you ordered. Thirdly expect crispy schnitzel to mean hard and dry as a board.... The schnitzel is delicious here and the ambiance is nice. Ceasar salad and carpaccio were great too!

Café Noir is like no other in Israel – it's the only place that offers true Viennese schnitzel, so as other tasty dishes from its fine kitchen. The price is no cheap at all (72-88 NIS for schnitzel only) and the place suffers from bad reputation as employer, yet if someone can live with that it's fantastic place for lunch.... More

This restaurant was recommended by the staff at the Rothschild 71 hotel and was within easy walking distance. The food was excellent and the service was great. The place was "spot on".

While all the food looked good and other diners enjoyed it this is THE place to go Schnitzel! A block off Rothschild Blvd this Café is a charming place with very good food and friendly service. Portions were large (too large for my wife), wine was good, service was good. What not to like? Prices were reasonable for Tel Aviv.

Food is not the most original but you have good choices, quality and huge portions! Service is very good and accommodating, even if you come without a reservation.

Nice ambience, good service. Ceviche was good, Frito Misto was ok. Good Italian wine. Mains were chicken breast which was ok and Veal Schnitzel which was so thin and dry that I am not sure that there was any meat between the batter. I have had better schnitzel almost everywhere else. A totally average dining experience.
