This is the best Japanese restaurant in tel aviv for sure. The dishes are generous and very tasteful. The menu is varied and always extremely fresh fish. The only downside is the design is a bit old and the prices are high.

Onami is the best sushi restaurant in Israel and is one of the veterans in the Asian food field. I eat there regularly and am always 100% pleased. The service is amazingly professional, the ingredients of the dishes are always very fresh and the standards are as high as they get!

All the family including a baby went for saturday lunch. Was great. The special soup in the start was great, the tuna tartar with avucado is better than other places, shusi for 6 was with many assorted types and even the dessert. 1000₪ for 7 full meal and the baby - fair and tasty.

In the past Onami was known as one of the best Sushi restaurants in tel-aviv. Their waiters and bartenders were always snobs but the sushi was great! 2 days ago I've been there with my girlfriend to celebrate her birthday and it was somewhat disappointing. 1. The food: The agadashi tofu was very sweet & salty, the gongen was also... More

Three options:75 /85/95 NIS. All with starters, first course and main course. Coctails with fresh fruit are 25 for lunch. We took the wakame twice, potato noodles and fried tofu and the 6 rolls of sushi option between the two of us. It was more than enough and the sushi was great. Fresh and tasty. Attentive and professional service. 2 ice cold... More

The food was acceptable, but the place was packed, overcrowded, seems more a bar than a restaurant. People standing all over the bar. It was Friday night maybe it's a bad day to go.

I'm a regular here (often for the business lunch which is an excellent deal). Pretty much everything on the menu is well-made, with a certain degree of authenticity but still catering to local tastes, agedashi tofu is one of the best I've had anywhere. Maguro tataki (for a hefty price) is a stunning dish with the right seasoning. Scallop with... More

the restaurant was very nice, the atmosphere is nice - great for romantic dinner. The variety of Sushi dishes is overwhelming and the taste was amazing. fish were fresh, the fish to rice ratio was good - i.e. they weren't cheap about the portions. so is the service. the only thing that one needs to know is that the prices... I ate a few times there, both business lunch and dinner. The quality is very high but so the prices, so it is not a place for the party/kids but rather for a romantic dinner/business meeting.

Thank Shmuki
