its a nice place that is always busy , recommend a reservation, food is great service is super excellent, the only drawback is the tables are too close for comfort as u would be sharing your neighbor's conversation even if they try to be discreet ;)

If you are looking for good food, at a reasonable price in a funky part of Beirut then this is a good place to try. We went in a big group and everyone enjoyed their meals (lots of different things were ordered and they were all good). Service was efficient, atmosphere was fun, noise levels were manageable. All in all... More

Special little bistro. Excellent French food. Had the escargots and a steak tartare. Both were delicious.

We are regular visitors of the two venues of this cozy French bistrot: Gemmayzeh and Dbayyeh. Every detail is perfect: service, food taste, diversity and temperature. They have a very rich meny. My favorite entry is mushroom poêlée, and for the main I often go for their Steak-frites specialty served with a divine creamy sauce. They also got Moules-Frites cooked... More

It came highly recommended, so I took the leap of faith on a special occasion. The service was excellent, and so was the ambiance. We ordered salads, appetizers, and their famous steak with fries. For my main dish, I decide to try the duck. For drinks, we had wine and whiskey. The salads were exceptionally tasty and the dishes were... More

Couqley is a nice restaurant, classy, neat, clean with good food. You can go out with friends and invite friends if they are visiting Lebanon and you want to take them to a nice place for dinner.

I am a regular customer at Coquely Gemayzeh, I always visit with my wife and some friends. The welcome is warm, the team is helpful, the service is professional , the food is good (especially the salade chèvre Chaud and the cote de boeuf ) and the desserts are very tasty (especially the Pain Perdue).

Delicious french cuisine, nice atmosphere. The waiters are friendly and the menu is diversified. I recommend the steak frites and the pain perdu!
