We had dinner at Tajine. The food was fairly average and lacked the Morrocan favours and spices. The service was also poor.

We went to this restaurant last night (Wednesday). I am mentioning the day because one can easily realize that this was not a weekend or Thursday evening. We were a group of seven people. Most of the seating arrangements in the floor we were guided to had tables for a maximum of six people. So we wanted some rearrangements to... More

Dining experience is great, Go solo, with a friend or two, or with a large group upstairs. The menu is quite extensive, and the baby camel was absolutely phenomenal!! Your costs are minimal for a great experience. Shisha outside or inside as part of the meal is not only mandatory, but custom and tradition. Take part and enjoy the traditions.... More

The decor is fantastic, and the views from upstairs are good. The place was packed which is a good sign. The service was slow and my colleague's starter was forgotten. The meatball tagine was nice though.Price was OK - around Q80 for 3 courses and a drink.

This was my first visit to the Middle East and also my first to a Morracan restaurant. Our food was delicious from start to finish. The atmosphere was wonderful - right in the heart of the Souq Waqif and the Spring Festival! Portions were very reasonable, not too big and everything was delicious. I couldn't have asked for a better... More

Excellent tasty food, although portions are large. I should have just had the soup and salad. They also serve breakfast.

Bustle, colour and cinnamon spices drifting through the air, mingling with the shisha cinders to create a warm, exciting space for dinner. Seated on the roof-top we were soon greeted and our orders taken. I chose lamb tajin with prunes and almonds, and in spite of being told that it was very sweet, it was in fact quite tasty and... This restaurant is part of a larger chain in the souq waqif. The food is okay, and the location excellent for people watching. I have been there a few times, but can never say that I have ever come away thinking wow. They do do camel tajine though, if you are feeling adventurous....
