We ordered an appetizer with hummus and different types of mixes with pomegranate and herbs and chicken with rice. The food was great! The service was quick. The only thing is there are cats outside that roam around when you eat but unfortunately it is hard to control them and also sad to see them look for food like that.... More

I ate at Al Adhamiyah in the Souq last night. I had the lamb quozi. I chose this restaurants because of the some of the reviews I had read on tripadvisor. The meal was ok but not great. I was expecting more based on the earlier reviews. What was strange, was that only a couple of minutes after I had... More

Really huge portions, if someone hungry as a lion... quite good plates, but nothing extraordinary. Reasonable prices with helpful staff. At the end complimentary small glass of tea..

Found this restaurant based on the excellent trip advisor reviews and it didn't disappoint. We had the qouzi and mixed mezzo - large portions at a good price and the food was superb. The lemon and mint drink was also the best we'd had! We sent our other colleagues here the following night! A must if you're visiting the souq.

I visisted this place with a friend last week. I ordered their Iraqi Kibbeh, which lived up to expectation. I would go back again to try more of their dishes. We especially appreciated the kind hospitality of the people working there, not only was their service friendly and speedy, but were were also given complimentary tea and dessert. Highly recommended!

Situated in Souq Waqif, a wonderful location, Al Adhamiyah is one of my favourite places to eat in Doha, it offers genuine Iraqi cuisine and the service of the staff is excellent. Food tastes great and is delivered in quite generous portions, the kebab is unforgettable and the masgoof fish is one-of-a-kind. The restaurant had me searching of Iraqi restaurants... More

Far down the restaurant street in the souq, with some outdoor seating that's nice for watching all the people passing through. The qouzi lamb plate was big - 3 types of rice, plus a couple of bean and vegetable side dishes (I was told by the staff not to order anything else) - and the lamb was falling off the... More

After hours of wandering around the hot streets of Doha we were in need of cold drinks and good food. We looked at many restaurants in the Souq and chose Al Adhamiyah based on their tasting sounding menu and Qatari clientele. Service started out a little slow in cleaning our table from the previous diners but was worth the wait.... More

The souks of Qatar are a great place to eat! The Al adhamiya iraqi serves different kinds of food and we had a great platter of different starters. As main dish we had the chicken and lamb! Great tasting and marinated!
