Sportsman's Arms is my ‘go-to’ place on a Thursday evening, especially since it is within walking distance of my place at Rihan Heights. The food is always good and it’s a lively place to have a few drinks and a good meal. I have never...had a bad experience at Sportsman's Arms. The service is usually pretty good. I usually go on a Thursday evening and select the ‘all you can eat and drink’ package that runs between 7PM and 10PM. That always works out to be good value for money. I, and three colleagues, visited again on Wednesday, 28 April, for my birthday for their regular Wednesday evening steak night. The food was good and although the place was reasonably quiet we enjoyed the evening. Our friend, the General Manager, Francois, always takes good care of the guests. I have no hesitation in recommending Sportsman's Arms for your fun evening out.More

Visited on a Saturday afternoon to try the Sunday lunch and watch the match. However, whilst the indoors was practically empty all of the tables in the centre section were reserved. When I enquired why the tables were reserved yet all empty I was told...“they are coming at 4pm” I can only assume whoever they were all running late, as it was already 4:35 Decided to pay up and leave.More

Great for a Roast dinner but play Russian Roulette with any other menu choice! A shame really as this place has its gems, the roast and also the fish n' chips, not to mention the staff who are excellent and super friendly. I live within...walking distance so this place is more or less a local but some of the dishes really let it down. Wednesday steak day (but no fillet steak!), so order a ribeye, first one is over cooked, general steak quality is poor and I gave up with the second version as I was starving and needed to get back to work - I ate what I could and moved on. I don't think this is testament to the chef however but the management. Add AED 20 on the price if needed and serve a decent piece of meat!! AED 75 for a steak sandwich that doesn't come with fries or even a side salad - expensive - just order the burger - it's ok and comes with fries for the price point (but Victors is better for a pub grub burger). Historically had a poutine - watery bisto gravy came to mind! I sent it back. To be fair the restaurant happily changed my dish. Oh...the apple pie is amazing. Shame as this place really could be amazing if they adapted just a few things and focused on what it can do well!More

A really pleasant lunch - Juicy Cheese Burger and Sweet Potato Fries... great atmosphere, not crowded, really helpful and friendly staff - will definitely go back

From the start we were welcomed by the lovely and attentive Janet. We ordered a lovely seasoned Chicken breast topped with the perfect chimi churi sauce and Delicious mashed potatoes and Asparagus with green beens. We also had an Amazing Pinacolada that would rival any...Pinacolada in Cancun. I requested a frozen Pinacolada and the Bartender Mark made it to perfection. Im always skeptical to order them here. Over priced food, charge a service charge for bad service. I will never return to this place again. It has gone downhill. African Staff dont care and are just looking for tips

Decided to come here with some friends after seeing it online and hated it, staff couldn't be bothered and we're rude. Being in a Muslim country all stores and restaurants are expected to turn off music when the call to prayer sounds, after multiple requests...to do so, they refused. The food took more than 40 minutes to come which wasn't appreciated as we were fasting but wasn't too much of an issue. When the food came we had switched tables and the server had taken the food to the wrong table, after requesting that he take it to the right table, he huffed and puffed for a couple of minutes before finally doing so. On arrival of the food to the table, we quickly realised that this wasn't a place to eat at. My friend had ordered a steak (costing 120 dirhams) which was the size of my fist. Everything was tiny and grossly overpriced. We were shocked to see how small and expensive the food is. Finally, after eating a *small* pizza, a chicken Caesar salad, a fist sized steak and a McDonald's small size equivalent french fries, the bill arrived. It cost us 450 dirhams for 4 people to eat, we weren't even full! The only good thing about this place is that there's a free pool table. Other than that I recommend you avoid this place completely! Never come here! At least at the end one of the servers gave us a good joke : "Come again" - one of my friends fell to the floor laughing.More

The food was tasty and the music was great but waiting 40min after asking for drinks and following up three times and calling the manager we all decided that there are far better place to have a drink and enjoy the atmosphere on a Friday...night in the UAE. Drinks coming to the table half and asking why the drinks are half the waiter gave is attitude..More

Great outdoor and indoor venue overlooking the tennis court. They have good offers on drinks during happy hours and good selection of alcoholic beverages. I think the food prices are high and their portion is too small. Staff are friendly and a great place to...unwind. I can across their brunch offer which has three hour unlimited beer and one main course for around aed 150 (which I would assume is pretty reasonable to try)More

Standard sports bar with good range of food and full bar. We had a late breakfast. All food was good at a decent value.

Great sports bar in Abu Dhabi. Early Friday night great with kids as well. Food close to "Gastropub" category, extremely friendly staff, nice terrace and on Friday nights good band.
