Excellent food and service. Very traditional restaurant that keeps quality and service. Only problems your clothes smell fondue

The food is average and relies more on the fondue experience than on taste. This would be fine if the service was decent, unfortunately tonight it was non existent. We had an early reservation at 20:30 and the place was empty yet the waitresses just stood talking to each other without bothering to look our way and see if we... More

Restaurants that maintain the same excellent quality through the years are rare, and this is certainly the case here. Wonderful Rösti potatoes and Fondues. Also some salad and fish choices. The only suggestion would be that they bring back the regular marshmallows and flat cookies for the chocolate fondue instead of their new additions.

While the fondue is good, it is so expensive that we will not go back there. Not worth it. You feel ripped off when you leave the restaurant.

We were in a group of 5 couples so I made a reservation (bungalowsuizo@adinet.com.uy). We had delicious cheese fondue which costs 1.800 pesos. The waiter told us each fondue was for a couple, but we ordered 3 and it was enough. 5 would be appropriate only if we were starving and even still maybe too much. Don´t miss the sweet... More

Bungalow Suizo is a sure thing. You will never be dissappointed. I´ve been eating in this restaurant for over 40 years and it is always very good. It´s food is heavy, and we always doubt wether we should go or not during the summer, but every time we go, we never regret it.

The staff seemed to be not that pro, they take their time to take your order. The quality of the dishes are above average, thou they can improve the presentation. Wine list is ok. Little bit pricey, around USD65/ person.

Bungalow Suizo is one of the most traditional restuarants in Punta and is very well known for Suiss food, specially all the different Fondues served there. When you walk into Bungalow Suizo, you see the same decoration, the same waitresses and of course, the same joy and great couisine as many years ago. It´s a pleasure and a privilege to... More

More than 50 years between visits, but service, ambience, food and high prices just as I remember. Excellent. We had salads, cheese fondue, rösti(!) and incomparable pork chops. Pricey. Paid gladly.

Yes! Incredible but true. This restaurant offers a piece of Switzerland in a beach city. The place is very big with different rooms and tables, and still, you have to reserve in advance to be able to dine or lunch in an enjoyable manner, otherwise, they won´t guarantee a space since the place gets amazingly full. Once you arrive, you... More
