My wife and I enjoy our coffee and were glad we found this place. Their coffee is good, if not great, but definitely a lot better than some of the liquids we were served as ´coffee´ in Bolivia. There´s a good range of cakes and pastries to go with the cuppa as well. Service was attentive when we went, half... More

This is the kind of place you go for a treat - big slices of cake for 20Bs + !!? not cheap! But the wifi was excellent and the staff let us hang around there for I think 3 hours without once giving us a dirty look or asking us to move. The hot chocolate thought quite delicious made with... More

We had a light tea here after a day of touring. Good coffee, sandwiches and baked goods. Clean establishment with plenty of seating on two floors. Can purchase ground coffee to take home.

We stopped in here twice for lunch and had very good food and very good coffee as well. Portions were so huge that the second time there we shared one meal.

I ate at this Alexander Coffee twice, it is on the corner for anyone walking down Potosi. I ordered the "breakfast tacos" but it does turn out that you only get one, with a little salsa. For the price (30 Bs), I did expect a bit more. the cafe con leche was good, but cost 13 Bs. Overall, I did... More

Alexanders is a chain and there are several scattered around the La Paz area, and at the airport. It has consistently good expresso drinks and if you are a USer or CAnadian and miss muffins and french pastries and sandwiches and salads, it has a good selection of all of these. Also, very good salads and sandwiches, and the salads... More

Alexander is the major chain of coffee in the city and is always a good reliable cup that also offers some good pastries.

I've been to a few Alexander Coffee, downtown, airport and somewhere else. Good place to find a good cup of coffee without paying North American prices. Mind you in terms of Bolivian standards it is already expensive. It's pretty low key, very relaxed, nice ambience, nothing too fancy. I found it had a very local vibe.

Great place to just relax & enjoy a good cup of coffee. Staff are friendly & helpful. Located in the CBD it's only one block up from the main city street.

A good place to have a cup of coffee, right in the city center. The staff is nice, expect to pay approx. 26 BOL ( approx 3,5 USD ) for a good cappuccino. A little bit touristic but don't forget La Paz is not a city specially full of tourists so it's okay.
