This is the best little gem, authentic food and people - you must go and have their amazing tapas. We were lucky enough to sit on the two wobbly seats at the bar and watch the magic in the kitchen!

Second time I went to Tapas Macarena and they changed the menu around a bit - still same quality, great dishes. You notice the food is prepared with love and care and there's many different options for a good price: beef, chicken, pork, vegetarian, cheeses,...More

Thank you very much. We indeed change the menu time to time to offer different options to our guests. As our food is handmade, as you said it is imprerative to make it with lots of love. Come back soon!

This place was fantastic! It's a small hole in the wall with amazing food. We asked the owner to pick a few dishes and he sent out an entire meal, it was amazing. They sent us a pitcher of sangria, best I've ever had. Great...More

On our last night in Bogota we returned to the Macarena area to a small tapas restaurant we'd seen earlier in the trip. We thankfully made a reservation and managed to take the last available table in this quaint little spot. The service was wonderful...More

Thank you, good that you mentioned the reservation. As our restaurant is small, we recommend to book in advance. It is our great pleasure to host you at Tapas Macarena.

Had a lovely lunch at Tapas Macarena yesterday. The server was very attentive and gave us some very helpful suggestions. We had a cheese and charcuterie board as well as two of the servers suggestions. The grilled asparagus and portobello mushrooms and the octopus dish....More

Nice selection of tasty tapas. The "tortilla" is great. Everything is freshly made. Also has a good choice of wines.

Is a great place to eat. The best thing is the "sangria" and a must is the "patatas de pobre" and the "tortillas". The place has a great atmosphere.

The last second day in Bogotá, we've decided to have a nice dinner and we found this little gem. It is cosy but the music and the ambiance are both brilliant. The food is absolutely beautiful (but the price is more than average as well)....More

The restaurant is one of the smallest that I have been to. It is in the hip and happening La Macarena area, next to the downtown city centre. The food is (as the title suggests) tapas but with a slight Colombian twist. We had Pulpo...More

Its a big surprise. I just arrived in Bogota and I found this tiny and charming place close to my hostel. Tapas Macarena, the first tapas bar I've been in Colombia. I had a baby pork with avocado and escabeche, spanish tortilla and a glass...More

This is a tiny and familiar restaurant. Customers like it because they feel like at home. It is the first tapas bar in Colombia and is well known by its contemporary menu, composed by traditional Spanish tapas like tortilla, Serrano, but also by its creations. They even have their own version of patatas bravas and they are actually very famous. The Serrano salad, the white fish in basil oil with asparagus and dried tomatoes, tha lamb burgers etc. Tapas go along well with a cold beer, a glass of sangria or wine. If you want to have a unique and personalised experience come to Tapas Macarena. Feel free to order what you want, ask the waiter or the cooks. And something else, the music is really nice.....
