This restaurant was recommended by our tour guide. The interior design is stunning, looks like french architecture. We also liked the food, very traditonal colombian cuisine and even vegetarian meals (for those who like that). The portions are very big, don't overorder. Unfortunately the service...More

Our tour guide recommended we eat here, and he was spot on. It’s a great (and affordable) place to enjoy sample Colombian food, including soups, tamales, and drinking chocolate (which you dip bread and cheese into). The establishing is like an old mansion with different...More

This restaurant is situated in a lovely neo classical building. The second floor was beautiful with molded plasterwork decorating the high ceilings. However, the food was very disappointing. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the tamales. They were very different from the normal Mexican tamale. They were made with rice, chicken and peas and other vegetables wrapped in a banana leaf and were delicious.

We ate here after visiting the gold museum. We were disappointed with the service, but the food was good, and the building it self amazing. It has a lot of history, and if you ask, the staff will provide a text describing its colourful past.

On a coldish, rainy day in Bogotá we stopped in here for dinner. The menu is varied, the food was hot and delicious. The service was friendly. They have 3 very different dining areas, so you can choose from different atmospheres.

Local recommended this place as an alternative over la puerta falsa which he thought is very touristy, busy and small portions. It’s in a great location and if you’re a tourist you’ll prolly walk by it at some point. These are large portions and heavy...More
