We only went there for drinks, but the staff were very friendly, and the menu good, with less expensive food. They are renovating along the sea front and it will be really nice when the work is finished, and a nice place to sit and look at the sea and Irririki resort, and have something to eat.

My school group and I had the cafe all to ourselves for dinner. The cafe brought out delicious pizzas very quickly and had a lovely view of the water from our outdoor tables. Reasonably priced too!

This wasnt air conditioned but sitting outside under cover there can be a breeze and the wifi was good. I just asked for the password so cant comment on the food/drinks etc but I would have paid anything for a proper cup of coffee after the cruise ships' terrible offering(of the free selection)

Had lunch here one day after a dive...fish and chips and a beer was great. Came back for dinner later in the trip and watched a movie on their small open area movie screen. Unexpected, but made for a great night! Pizza was delicious too!

OOPS what a shocker-with all the noise of big machines then this was disappointing. In the past it was good for coffee and bite and hope to see that again but looks like it will be a long time with construction there.

We stopped in her for lunch after going there for dinner the night before. Was very quiet for dinner but more lively for lunch. Good diverse menu and very affordable, about $15nzd for big breakfast. Kava juices yummy and strong. Smoothies fresh and yum. Trendy atmosphere and music by the water, will be lovely once waterside works ate complete.

Sadly there is constriction work happening on the doorstep of this place currently. We took a seat and it must have been lunch break, after we ordered a digger started up and we were breathing in the fumes. Cafe seems fine, but currently it's not comfortable due to the construction.

Great view, very friendly people. Even noticed locals sitting in having their afternoon coffee. Love the Ice Coffee.
