It's one of the most nicest places in Tbilisi, with delecious food. I suggest it to any tourist, or local.

We visited this evening in this wonderful Georgian restaurant. Homely, friendly service, but the main thing is the food! Cooked with love and care about you, gourmets! Do not try the famous Georgian dishes in this restaurant, it means to deprive yourself of the story. The dishes are very large, and, as usual in Georgia, very hearty. We took kharcho,... More

We visited this restaurant for dinner. Everything we tasted was delicious. We had spent the previous two nights dining at one of Georgia's most expensive hotels (rooms hotel in kazbegi), and Old Vake was the clear winner. The Georgian salad with walnut dressing was exceptional. The Georgian version of ratatouille was also fantastic--i kept trying to put my finger on... More

This is a lovely traditional restaurant slightly off the most touristic areas in Tbilisi. They serve absolutely delicious food and great wines. The portions are huge and prices very low for Western Europeans. We went there for late lunch but I can imagine going back here for a dinner, also. Seems to be quite a romantic place also. The service... More

Old Vake provides quiet, old-fashioned interior with comfortable distance between tables. It offers savoury Georgian meals and delicious home-made wine. One day we were served by very nice and helpful waitress speaking fluent English, the other day there was only a Georgian-speaking waiter, what jammed communication a little bit ;-) Frankly, we won't recommend Old Vake to non-smokers or families... Good restaurant with nice food. Waiter can help you with the order and you can trust his taste. Here is classical georgian restaurant with little contemporary twist.

This is a really nice place to have a meal, meet with some friends, have some drinks, or just watch people. The food is traditional Georgian and delicious.

Very nice interior, both spacious and cozy, with vintage furniture and some contemporary details. We took one portion of meat & bread on a clay pan for two adults and a 4-year-old child and this was really enough to make us full (and tasty of course). The service is fine, and they accept credit cards.

Very tasty, delicious traditional cousin, with good service and prices. The place is located in Vake district and offered delicious cousin, the place is not big and it is better to book in advance. I can be also good for relative large groups for dinner.
