Living and traveling overseas can leave you missing old favorites and can be tricky if you have picky eaters in the family. This Outback is walking distance from Dragon Hill Lodge. The steak, ribs, and wings were quite good. There is an english menu with familiar favorites. There was not a kids menu but there are kid-friendly options. All-in-all, this... More

My wife and I went to the Outback Steakhouse in Itaewon for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Outback has recently added some new lunch combos, which are very attractive. My wife chose the Kakadu Kimchi Griller (17,900 won = US$15), and I had the Jambalaya Chicken Rice (16,900 won = US$14). Both dishes were brought to our table... More

(I know it's strange and even a little ironic to claim America's Outback as "proper" Outback, but I digress...) I quite like Outback. Well, I liked the ones that I went to in many states within the U.S. I went to Itaewon's Outback three times. The first time, I thought I just ordered a bad item from the wildly different... More

After a few months in Korea my kids were feeling a bit homesick, so we decided to try the Outback in Itaewon. This is not really Outback. They may be part of the chain, but the food is completely different, and it just doesn't taste very good. I love Korean food, and I love steak, but this was a bad... More

I do not like this restuarant as it is not a place for my wife and I. Low quality and high prices. I have during my six years in Korea been to outback so many times, and it is for me only the company of good people that can make a trip to outback a good experience.

Yes there are Outback steakhouses in Korea. We ate at this one because we were on foot and it was there. It was good food (cheesy fries) and the steak was good as well. The fruit juices are REAL fruit juices, the pineapple juice with pieces of pineapple, the lemon juice lemony. Good meal and good break after the Namdaemun... More

The Korean owned Outback restaurants are proposing large meat dishes at reasonable price...but do not expect high cuisine at all... Personaly I do not like their sauces and salad dressings because everything is quite sweet. If you love the taste of fastfood, you will love this restaurant too.

its a beautiful eatery, and the staff are courteous, with their badges hung on their chests and the service is good, one will always want to go back.

Staying in Itaewon

Neighbourhood Profile
Neighboring the immense Yongsan American Garrison, Itaewon was once shunned by locals as a seedy, red light district. But within the past few years, Itaewon and its surrounding neighborhoods such as Kyunglidan and Haebangchong have undergone a major revival to quickly become one of Seoul’s hottest areas. Here, trendy international restaurants dot the area alongside hip lounge bars and some of Seoul’s hottest club venues. After dark, Itaewon comes into its own as one of Seoul’s top party scenes. The crowd is a fascinating patchwork of all backgrounds and identities, including a small but thriving Muslim community (centered on Korea’s sole mosque), the LGBT community (with a string of popular bars and clubs), and a wide range of ethnicities and cultures scattered around. Those seeking a quiet respite should head towards the eastern end, in Hannam-dong, which not only has one of Korea’s best art museums, the Leeum Samsung Museum of Art, but plenty of mid-range to upscale restaurants and cafes.
