Although the prices have been increased but still the place is full of crowd. The place is quite well but needs some renovations. The food is still very tasty as always.

Being from Kuwait, I can say that i know a little something about grills and mixed platters. On our stay in Cairo, we found that our hotel was just next to GAD. Delighted that we get to experience authentic Egyptian food we were looking forward to eating from there. . There is no English menu so there is absolutely no... More

My first experience in Cairo and it was great. I had my first Sahoor in Cairo at Gad. The place was packed by Sayidna Alhussrin. The people were awesome and service was great giving the fact it was supper crowded. It was an experience eating truly local food in a truly local and crowded neighborhood.

Good food! You can get a wide variety of things at good prices. I love the falafel and french-fries in a sandwich, go with friends and order lots of things to share.

Gad restaurant offers two kind of services, one is where you sit and food is brought to you on a plate (10% service charge will apply) and the take away option, or sit on the downstairs option. where you don't pay... What a bad restaurant! and bad service, delay, gross tables and chairs. Also, their "Gad" pizza has weird meat in it too. It was disgusting. But nothing is as crazy as their rule if you want a sandwitch you'll have to eat it in the ground floor table even if you ordered other stuff!
