This restaurant is definitely worth a visit if you appreciate a view on the pyramids with your dinner. The staff is extremely nice and professional, the food is good quality and reasonably priced. My favorite dish was taamia with eggs, but the stuffed pidgeon was also a big hit with the family.

Felfela is a great place to introduce to first time visitors to Cairo. Located in a busy street in town it is easy to miss unless you pay close attention. If you miss almost everyone in the street will be able to redirect you to it. Felfela offers a variety of authentic Egyptian meals. I highly recommend their Foul (... More

Freshly made falafel here! Pair that with some hummus, and maybe a local beer like Sakara, then you're all set.

Great service from our wait staff. This place was highly recommended by our driver Wadi. Everything was delicious. It's well known restaurant in the expat circle.

This was the best meal and the most authentic Egyptian food my husband and I had while in Egypt. Delicious selection of dips, breads and felafels. The atmosphere and service were both very good. It is always a good sign when lots of locals are eating in a restaurant. as they were here.

Nice place good menu but awful service if you are not locals. We practically had to beg for the menus and a drink of water. Worst was the waiter asking for a tip on top of the hefty service charge.

We stayed at a hotel very close by and this restaurant was within walking distance. We ate in one night and ate at the walk away takeout area right next door. This is where a typical Egyptian will get a lunch time meal/snack. Super cheap, very tasty, and filling food. The order in restaurant is used by tourists, but also... More

Excellent chicken shawarma and falafel warp (Only 2.5 LE !). We opted for a takeway and had it for an hour and it still tasted excellent which is testimony to the quality of food. Always a busy place and so you may have to wait for your turn. It is very close to Pyramids, so you can ask your guide... More
