We visited Artcaffe at Village Market and the food was really great. We had pasta dishes which was really nice- just like a pasta in Italy. For us as Swedish ppl, this place is just like a place at home. There is not a thing that can be connected to Kenya so... this is a place if you are homesick... More

I had a lovely lunch with my friend at the Artcaffe in the Village Market Centre. Good service, nice setting and good food. My sandwhich was delicious and the pastas looked great. Menu has a great variety and their coffee is good too. Not cheap but good food.

Staff took their time paying us attention, taking our order and bringing the food. They seemed offended when asked to give us sugar & lemon for our tea. They seemed to jump into action, with wide grins, when a white customer appeared. When told of the poor service, they stared at us with dispassion & nonchalance. One shouldn't have to... More

a place to see and be seen. It would just be a normal cafe in a european country, but here it is seen as posh. highly overrated and too pricey. But the food is decent :) except the gnocchi so far, hated that. Some staff is not very friendly either.

Sometimes it's hard to find a good fresh salad in a Kenyan restaurant. In Nairobi, this place solves that problem! In fact, you can create your own salad: I asked for a Nicoise salad, but no tuna fish and add feta cheese instead. Done! Everything is fresh, clean, and quite delicious. BTW the Greek salad is outstanding (though why serve... More

A modern and stylish cafe located on the outer ring of the village market centre. Good food and variety. Decent ambience, great place to meet up with friends/family or for a business meeting. Reasonably priced although on the higher end given its contemporary feel and targeting a more upmarket clientele. Recommendation: Chocolate mousse is amazing and is a meal in... More
