WE wanted some fun and nice place for our Saturday night hangout and were lucky to find this one Despite the nascent "chain" concept it is very authentic with jaw dropping choice of beers Tons of local and expat can't be wrong about this place

I lived in Beijing for several years and moved away 2 years ago for my job. Whenever I come back I eat here. The cheeseburger is the best. Beer is good. It's a crowded noisy atmosphere that is good for having a good time. Appetizers...More

I've been here several times and have always come away satisfied. They have a huge selection of beers and a pub-grub type menu. Pretty good French fries too, although last time I was there, they were unavailable for some reason . Service is usually good...More

Great place for burgers and craft beer. Burgers are good and the beer is great. Every now and then it can take a while to be seated though, but it's definately worth the wait.

This is a modern style mice brewery. The difference to Berlin, Zürich, NY is the mix of herbs in the beer. This is a great show and the serve one of the best pizzas in town. I do recommend to try the sweet potatoes fries...More

It is a really awesome pub, great burgers, tasty chicken wings and a lot of beers to taste. Honey Ma Gold was one of my favorites.

After a few more visits since my first review, I have finally found a good pale ale that I like. Took my wife to Beijing on this trip and introduced her to this place. She ordered a Cob salad and loved it, as well as...More

Often you need to wait quite long. However the service is quite fast. If it is full, then the restaurant becomes quite noisy

For those who love craft beer, you have to check GLB's take on Chinese ingredients - truly memorable flavors! The Honey Ma is out of this world! Great food and atmosphere.

China is very much the land of dull pale lager so it was a real treat to find somewhere which sells proper ale served on draft. The place appears to be popular with ex-pats but with a smattering of locals which makes for a pleasant...More

Yes. There is a table directly to the left of the alley entrance. Don't sit there, it is above a sewer grate. A little more "Beijing" than you might want. I prefer this one to #12 even with no food.

No gluten free menu but the veggie basket is safe to eat. I wouldn't recommend the fries as they might be cooked with other things which have been coated in flour, but it depends on your level of sensitivity.

Description
Great Leap Brewing #12 Brewpub pairs the best craft beer Beijing has to offer with burgers that are consistently voted among the best in town. With a brewpub ambience not unlike what you might find in the USA or Europe, the brewhouse and fermentors are all in plain view. Hardwood tables, steel signs, and chalkboards give it a hand-crafted, local feel, much like the beer itself. Our philosophy is to source a majority of locally grown ingredients, including local hops, teas, spices, fruits, vegetables, coffees, sugars and honeys, creating craft beer that truly represents the best of China. Hours: Sun-Thurs 11:00am-1am, reservations until 7pm and Fri-Sat 11:00am-2am, reservations until 6pm.
