I went to Monster Sushi becauseof 2 things. First, it’s a Japanese restaurant owned by a famous handsome actor---Guldan!!(Daniel Wu). Second, it’s located in downtown (Mong Kok), a huge shopping mall called Lang Ham Palace. It’s convenient for me to enjoy the food after I am tired in shopping. Its food is quite delicious and fresh. The sushi is delicious... More

Sushi is really good, good size and price. Better use discount vouchers to try first! so you can eat even cheaper.

There is a very good variety on the menu. Some pretty interesting and yummy like the foie gras Wagyu beef roll was really good! The Uni sushi was a bit disappointing cause I felt it was a mixed paste as opposed to pure uni.it wasn't bad, just not great. Prices are pretty good in general.

Poor service, hardly feel attended to in the restaurant. First timer and was handed a pen and told to tick what I want. Soup was lukewarm, seaweed lacked crunch as flavour, sushi and sashimi was dull, tasteless and even the drink was bland. The decor is cool with kitchen staff all dressed in their whites but that's the only positive... More

Sashimi and sushi are fresh and delicious. Customer service was great despite full house on a weekday evening.

The Sushi was good, the miso soup was tasteless. The prices were expensive but with a nice selection of fish. The service was terrible. Food was brought without drinks, took 15 minutes to get a lemon iced tea. Dishes were brought one at a time instead of together. When I signaled for the waitress it was apparent I was interrupting... We got there early and waited no longer than 5 minutes for a counter seat (~6.45pm on a Sunday). They have a good selection of sushi, rolls, sides etc. I have mixed feelings about this place as some of the items were pretty good, while others were only average tasting. We liked the sashimi, tempura and seared wagyu sushi's but... More

The location of this restaurant is perfect. In a massive shopping mall with a lot to do this place is just perfect. Monster Sushi have reasonable food, certain dishes better than others. The price is the best part, you can definitely eat a lot for a cheaper price etc. However the only downside is the staff. I have been here... More

Was too lazy to order a la carte and went for the set menu. It's a whopping 8 courses or so and we were full by the 5th. The soups, sushi, sashimi and dessert were very good. The beef so so Also good value as it's only about HKD250 per person excluding alcohol If you're not a big eater, perhaps... More

Visited late on a busy evening. We were told that we have 5 mins to order so we hurried through the process. Fortunately we were already familiar with the way things work so we managed to order quickly. Half hour later people were still placing orders so the staff just made this up, probably didn't want more people coming in... More
