This is a good bar to visit on a walk down from the the mid levels. We didn't try the food but the drinks are not too expensive for Hong Kong. We went there a couple of times and found the staff very helpful.

Good place for drinks and when seated up front at the bar you'll have the opportunity to watch the public mount the escalator.

I've never had a proper meal at Peak Cafe Bar. I just go there from time to time for drinks and snacks. This evening I met a friend there. I ordered a freshly squeezed orange juice and an appetiser platter (meatballs, deep fried calamari, samosa and chicken wings). It's a good place to catch up with friends and do some... More

Stumbled onto this place while exploring Midlevel SoHo Hong Kong. It is right off the Mid Level Escalator, and it offered a great oasis for beer and food. My pizza was excellent, and my wife's sandwich was very good. Great ambience and an easy ex pat vibe. Apparently a historic hangout from the 40s. Recommended if you're looking for good... More

If the people at the bar had Irish accents you could swear you were in Dublin The place definitely has an Irish feel about it for me as far as the bar and decor goes. Put in a band with a fiddle and a Guiness tap and I was back in Dublin . Anyway, that is my view! But in... More

Called in for lunch. Welcoming staff, great food, and very good value for money given its location. One of the nicest pizzas I have ever tasted in my life! Great place to sit and watch the world go by.

It May be a nice Bar. Good touristy location and clean. But the Food is aweful. For around 20 USD I had a Pad Thai that was the worst I had ever. My friend had a Toast, simple and not yummy looking at all. Cannot recommendation eating here.

Pub sort of place. Popped in by accident for lunch when rain started pouring. Friendly attentive staff. Food was very good. They have a proper pizza oven (gas fired) and proper dough made with Italian tipo 00 flour. Sngry Orchard cider on tap - amongst others. No CAMRA-stuff though.

Love this place for watching the crowds go by while enjoying early evening drinks, or a late brunch.

Typically expensive for no particular reason . The average price for drinks generally in this area is £10 I'm sure they don't know the difference between mocktails and cocktails!!

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
