The Lamma "Hilton" was closed or has closed, so we went next door. Crab and Ginger...expensive for a very small crab, thick lumps of ginger, Scallops and Broccoli...over cooked scallops. Bowl of rice...ok Cost HKD579....absolutely not good value for money Only upside to not giving a TERRIBLE rating was the free ferry back to Central.

I went with a bunch of sea-food lovers and they enjoyed, not loved the food. As a vegetarian this place, and the distance traveled to get here was a total waste of time, I wouldn't bother going here at all.

My son and I wanted some fresh fish and chose the grouper steamed. The place is very busy and lots of staff , I feel sorry for some of the other places which I will try next time. Essentially we had all our dishes before the fish came and so pretty much had finished the meal. This for me dampens... More

I understand it's crowded but really bad service and quality of good is not great. Not worth the price you are paying for.

For me still the best location for seafood - combined with a 1 hour hike across Lamma Island its a great afternoon activity all year round. Even its a highly tourist place the staff is professional and friendly - even give you a warning if you order something expensive if you really want it). The food is stable for decades... More

The best restaurant to go after a short hike on the Family Trail. We ran into Rainbow Restaurant right away and were seated immediately as there were not many other restaurants around (probably because of the time of the year). We ordered right away before the massive tour group next to us splurge on their seafood dinner. The fresh clams... More

I took the Ferry to Lamma Island to have lunch at the Rainbow Restaurant and it was not what I expected at all. My cousins recommended that my husband and I eat there since it would be much different than going to the restaurants in the city area, and they were absolutely right. Since we went to Lamma Island solely... More

Very busy restaurant, so the seafood flies out of the tank ensuring the freshest available. Very lively atmosphere too. If you choose not to select the seafood yourself, the staff can do it. Just give them your budget. It's not much value for money, but you get a good meal.

A-mazing setting and menu. Fresh fresh fresh seafood. Pick from the tanks and decide the sauce and cooking style! Only HKG$50 corkage per bottle of BYO (so bring your own nice wine). Smiley happy attentive staff, broad broad broad range of fish and seafood. A fantastic and decadent night out. Once in a while it's affordable. Take the one you... More

Food was good at this restaurant but, a bit pricey for what you get. What I didn't like is that we were charged service charge and the VIP ticket for a boat trip to Hong Kong. This is not a ticket for your journey to Hong Kong but, a VIP boarding pass which means nothing considering we were visiting out... More
