Breakfast was part of our room rate...the buffet that was offered was excellent compared to what would have been available from other restaurants in the area.

Grab some sald, soup, breads. Order your main from the menu and away you go. Enjoy your main and then more outings for desert. A good system for a prolonged dinner.

We have been going to this Resturant for many years, it was a taste of yesteryear a true Hong Kong institution. Last year they closed the old Resturant and moved it to a lower floor, sadly they have lost this fantastic piece of history, sadly the food has changed I guess to save a little money. The Ham Gone Tomatoes... More

Wonderful experience always. Lots of traditional dimsum. Love the taste and friendly attentive waiting staff. Can watch and see how common residents enjoy their meals here.

Went to this restaurant after it moved to the current location from shamrock hotel. The space is large and caters for more customers - tourists and regulars. Food is good. And price reasonable. You must try to congee, and dumplings. We ordered the vinegar pork with ginger. This is excellent. Service Staff is atypical - fast but not so friendly.... More

This is the first time visit after it has removed from 10th floor to mezzanine floor. The space is more spacious and clean. With new decoration, it looks comfortable and more modern than the old style before. It is the same helpful and polite staff working there. The prices in the menu are a bit higher than before, but still... More

Location has moved as of two weeks ago to London Plaza 11f. Staff was quite nice, though as I speak Chinese is a bit easier to get by. Only foreigner in the place, which was full of local having dim sum and tea. BBQ pork buns were delicious. Spring rolls, bbq zhu chang fen and shao mai were all tasty... More

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
