We went to this place impulsively as it was close to our hotel and had seats available. The best decision ever. The food was absolutely amazing. Must try the BBQ Pork Buns - they were our favourite! Ended up visiting again before our holiday ended....Will definitely come back here next time we’re around!More
Great food just like a casual fast foodish place but really nice food We had the dimsum. -pork and shrimp and also only shrimp Also had the soy noodles which were super
I had a craving for Tim Ho Wan dim sum after checking into my hotel. It was a short walk but also close to the Olympic MRT station. When I arrived there were only three groups ahead of me but turnover was quick. I was...seated in a corner by myself so that was a plus. Other tables had a barrier separating different sets of diners if the table was shared. To order I just filed out the paper menu with my selections and handed it over to the server. Delivery was quick but at least not all at once being a solo diner. My choices this time: Baked buns - sweet, crunchy topping with bbq pork was still my favorite Shrimp roll - generous three rolls Fried shrimp bean curd wrapper was hot and crunchy. Another top choice for me. Bean curd roll - a little disappointing without much flavor. Lunch was filling and mostly satisfying. After finishing lunch I took the ticket up to the front and had to pay cash as they did not accept credit cards.More
The food was very good and reasonably priced, service was quick and friendly. You can sit inside and out ( still under cover. Beer was expensive
Top . The food is so delicious top quality top service 100/100 points . A must be if u visit hongkong .compliments to all the team
Terrible. Ordered some steamed buns and they brought them out immediately. Quick service? Not exactly. They were cold. Obviously pre made and sitting for who know how long. I told the server they were cold and he said they were made to order. Maybe we...have a different definition of what made to order means. We sent them back and he immediately brought out a new batch of room temperature buns. We walked out.More
Authentic chinese dim sum, fast and friendly service, very good value, delicious, packed with locals. Would return again
We were looking forward to lunch at Tim Ho Wan. Who wouldn't when it's a Michelin stared restaurant after all? The food would've been great if only the servers were kinder and more pleasing. I spilled tea on the table but instead of helping us,...the lady server threw us a piece of cloth to clean after ourselves. The servers lacked customer service. Our food was served in an unpleasant matter. She sounded and looked annoyed. The experience didn't feel like it deserved a visit.More
My friends took me here yesterday for lunch and it was perfect for a send off. The Dim Sum themselves were light, fluffy, tasty and inexpensive. This is a restaurant that I have patronised frequently over the years -and in multiple locations. But this is...my favourite outlet as it is so close top my soon-to-be former workplace.More
Totally overrated. No idea why this is raves about or in all the guide books - if this has a Michelin star than that organisation is a joke. The food is tasteless, soggy and bland. One of the Dumplings tasted like sugar. After eating I...couldn’t stop drinking water for the rest of the day - sign of too much salt and msg. There is much better dim sum else where, don’t waste your time here at all.More
We love Tim Ho Wan! My family is a huge fan of the unique legendary delicious juicy, crumbly fluffy baked bbq pork buns and also other delightful dim sum. We are fortunate that Tim Ho Wan expanded to other countries like Singapore Plaza Singapura in...2013, so that we have a chance to experience this gastronomy. Tim Ho Wan truly deserves the One Michelin Star it earned since 2010 and is able to keep its excellent quality consistent throughout the years. Other dishes that we love include the soft spongy caramelised steamed Malay Sponge Cake and lightly pan fried crispy smooth carrot cake. We strongly recommend more people to experience Tim Ho Wan and savour their greatness! Hong Kong Michelin Tim Ho Wan By Chef Mak Kwai Pui Famous Baked BBQ Pork Buns Since 2009 Mong Kok! We dined at Olympic Branch, the dim sum standard never fail in comparison to its price. The atmosphere is very local and due to COVID, 2 at a table with plastic transparent divider. Good for a quick dim sum lunch at very good price
Went to the IFC MTR branch. Food was delicious. Didn’t disappoint. Loved the baked cha siu pao along with the dimsum and rice rolls. Service was efficient and friendly.
Their dimsum is truly something to long for. Especially the steamed pork bun and their dumplings. Once tasted, always wanted.
