Travelled to Hong Kong for a week and came in the bar a few times. Situated near Kowloon Park, in the busy shopping area. This is a really nice, friendly, welcoming place and a nice place to have a pint or a bite to eat....They play most live sporting events, such as English Premiership games and rugby. I watched the World Cup rugby semi final here and it was a great atmosphere considering the late time of the game. It's also worth checking if you have a specific sporting game you want to watch as I'm sure they will be all the best to accommodate the request. There are multi large TV screens through the bar, so no need to worry about having a good view to watch. The food is really nice here, serving all day breakfast and other bar food (ribs, burgers, etc). The main draw for me is that they serve the best pint of Guinness I had in Hong Kong, and believe me I had a few in other places. They also serve lager, cider and a good selection of whiskeys and other spirits. Colin, the owner is a funny guy with some funny stories and has great knowledge of Hong Kong, so ask for some tips on places to visit. The staff here are also very nice and accommodating. Will definitely visit again when I am next in Hong Kong!!!!More
This place is in the heart of the shopping district. Jean, who works behind the bar, was super helpful - giving advice on where to go and how to get there. English cider and Guinness available. Food looked good but we never ate there. Would...go back.More
Delaney's is an Irish Bar that has been present in Hong Kong for over 20 years. They historically have had a few places around the city with strong presence in Wanchai and TST. The Wanchai branch closed a year or two ago but has been...rumoured to be reopened at some point in the future. Meanwhile, the basement level Delaney's Bar on Peking Road just across from the iSquare shopping mall remains a good venue for a pint, bit of pub grub, a Sunday Roast and to kick back and watch a match or two on the telly when the mood suits you. Opening hours are 12pm to around midnight each night. Food menu is a a range of expected pub meals to go along with a familiar line up of draught beers. Service is friendly, environs fairly quiet during midday, much more lively in the evenings, weekends and match days.More
Colin was the ultimate bar man. Full of good stories and helpful.I would recommend this as a place to visit a little bit of normal in a crazy busy place.
Nice quiet place to have a meal although it is very expensive to eat and drink here, perhaps that explains why there were not too many people in there when we went. A Guinness was almost a 3 figure amount. We got quite a shock...when the bill came. I have been here a couple of times over the years, and could not believe the I’m increased costs. In saying that, the food was very delicious, staff were very welcoming and efficient. Location is great also, and easy to find.More
Everything you’d expect in an Irish Bar except Irishmen . They have a great selection of whiskeys and scotch. Plenty of football on the TVs and even a bar tender with almost the right accent. Great ribs and wings, too!
Apart from that it’s a very relaxing and enjoyable place. Love it there. I normally visit at Xmas time and whenever I want a sneaky Irish coffee to keep me warm In the winter. The staff are great and the manager is a top bloke....Just the price of a pint is damaging…. I mean come on.More
Just wanted to thank the team at Delaney's for hooking me up with some carry out tonight (you know who you are). Didn't have the necessary requirements for entry under the current system. I'll be back when tbings improve! Promise.
What a great morning eating great food and drinking great coffee and Bloody Mary’s! They opened up so I could watch the Houston Astro’s play! The service was over the top and the owner was fabulous! @HoustonAstos.com.
Great staff great food an oasis after a long day. Contemporary modern Irish pub in downtown Kowloon. Big enough for business meetings or couple to to have a intimate dinner. Highly recommend you check this place out.
So nice to be able to enjoy a friends and family xmas lunch gathering. Once again the team at Delaney's in Kowloon have served up a delightful, relaxing and enjoyable afternoon of festive fayre. All the food was exactly as you could have wished for....Plenty of it and wonderfully prepared. Nice to see plenty of people came out to support our local hospitality sector. Times have been tough for the industry and if we don't support them, we could lose them forever. Thank you to Colin, Ivy, Jean, Laxmi, Rose and the kitchen crew. It's a lot of hard work I am sure, but my friends and family really appreciated it.More
Fancied a British Dinner, where to go for classics - DELANEY'S Kowloon. Staff when things are going good are extremely helpful. Turkey Dinner, yes I am up for that, I order to be informed they only have one and I am the lucky punter. Thirty...minutes go by so I enquired about my order only to be told there is no Turkey dinner (obviously the chef fancied it before knocking off!). Now! logically they would inform you 5/10 minutes into your wait, No I had to enquire to find out the information. The dinner comprised of the Turkey and 7 sides at 195HK$ ended up going for the Bangers & Mash (3 ingredients), no discount as an apology for the wait or for not delivering the ordered dish and the chatty staff go silent. I will not be eating there again I will take my loyalty somewhere else.....More

This is a fantastic little bar, hidden in the basement just off a main street. I first visited here way back in January 2020 to watch my team, Arsenal, play Palace. I found the staff extremely helpful and polite, and there’s lots of space inside...to relax and enjoy a drink. The atmosphere was authentic and friendly, and the price for both drink and food was very reasonable. I came here three times in total and I really I hope that I will return soon.More
