Japanese French cuisine served with flair and finesse. Absolutely lovely lunch we had. The mushroom dish with Kodauari onsen egg was excellent. There were 3 kinds of mushroom (girolles, portobello and maitake) and the creamy earthy soup tasted wonderful. The other outstanding dish was the...sweet and savoury sweet corn, beef consommé(in jelly form) starter. The two matches each other marvellously and the creamy sweet corn cold soup is smooth to taste. Was told it is made of sweet corn purée with Hokkaido milk. Staff was absolutely professional and courteous. They make every effort to explain the dishes and well presented. We had the beef and pork main. Beef was heavenly with meat cooked to perfection. Pork on the other hand had a hint of smoky taste. The flavour profile matches well with the mustard seed beef sauce and the delicate zucchini, pine nut and sun dried tomato served along. Oh yes, they served the main with a cute looking gratin on the side. Absolutely satisfying when you eat them together. Lastly, the dessert doesn’t disappoint. The Japanese peach is very sweet & juicy. Hibiscus granite & a special minty leaf will leave you feeling refresh! Value for money as the ingredients were top notch. Highly recommend.More

Tirpse is located in a busy shopping mall in the city center, but once you step inside, you'll feel completely different as you can quietly enjoy the 180-degree view of Victoria Harbour (outdoor seating available!). We visited Tirpse on a busy Sunday to relax and,...most importantly, to try their summer Provence Tea Set. (In case you're not familiar, Provence is a region in southeastern France known for its beautiful natural landscapes and abundant sunshine.🥰) We started with the Wagyu katsu Sando in Miso with Mayonnaise. The Wagyu is thick and tender, with a rich and buttery flavor. Light frying gives it a crispy surface and allows the fat to melt gently in your mouth. Next, we tried the avocado-based tuna sashimi topped with caviar. The avocado is mixed with mango, giving the tuna a uniquely refreshing taste that enhances its freshness, somewhat like a sauce. The caviar adds a slight saltiness overall and further enhances the umami and fishiness of the tuna. Then came the sweets! The soft, delicate, and milky-based Panna Cotta is topped with strawberry jam and a slice of fresh strawberry. The jam contains actual fruit pieces and is quite sweet!🥰 Petits Fours are miniature fruit-based iced cakes and chocolate macarons. These delicate sweets mark the end of the wonderful summer tea set. The tea set comes with your choice of tea or coffee. 😀More

We ordered the TIRPSE Signature Dinner Menu (6-course with Amise Bouche) The diced abalone is refreshing with white asparagus and fragrance of shiso. The bottarga adds extra fishiness to firefly squid, and the squid itself have good texture, perfect match with smooth Onsen Eggs. The...Kinmedai is very fresh, served with light clam broth, fragrance of wild plants makes the dish exotic. For the main, the pigeon and Omi Wagyu are tender and juicy, both served with Soy Sauce and Golden Mustard. I like their dessert, the mix and match of ingredients commonly used in Japan adds richness to it.More

The service may not be as good as at Grand Maison, but it is still a cosy restaurant. The location is also nice, where you can enjoy a cigar on the terrace after meal. However, don't expect the food to taste great. 日本廚師煮理的法國菜,食材優質,味道穩定,一直很喜歡這裏。 點了Selected lunch menu ,包括兩道starter, 一道主菜,一道甜品,petit fours 跟飲品。 頭盤是Avocado, Angel shrimp , yuzu 柚子啫喱配合牛油果蓉和凍蝦,味道非常清新 第二頭盤是Chestnut, scallops, celery 扇貝鮮甜肉厚,煎得剛剛好 栗子醬味道甜甜的,很creamy ,很有冬天的感覺 主菜是Yellow chicken, shiitake, hazelnut 法國黃雞肉質很鮮嫩,烹調得非常好,把鮮度保留得很好 甜品用的是日本食材,文旦、菊花跟kabu 四國的文旦有清爽酸味和濃濃的甜味 Kabu 很少在甜品裏吃到,感覺很特別 整體滿意的一餐。

Picked the executive lunch @ HKD498 while additional HKD298 on top for the Miyasaki Wagyu Sirloin 🥩🥩🥩 quality dishes with quality service 😋😋😋 need to highlight that the butter bread is really awesome, surprisingly good! With the special homemade truffle butter with salt = perfect...match!!
