Always the place I go to if I want to eat Thai foods. The curry, papaya salad, skewers... my favourites!

Great authentic Thai food. Highly recommended. Try the pennang nua. Just like you get in Thailand. Reasonable price for hong kong

Uninspired service raises never appetite. Ordered some Thai classic dishes and noted short this is not a favorite stop. The Tom Yum soup with OK balance, but the prawns were almost invisible.

For a low key, fun meal we found the Thai Farmer in Wan Chai. The decor is very "cafe" rather than restaurant. To improve further, the waiting staff need to be more friendly. Surly & brisk are phrases that spring to mind. The food made up for it though!

Frankly speaking I want to start with the worst: The toilet is only for skinny men.. But the food is very authentic, staff real Thai and very friendly. After long time came here again, and already feel at home, even the Servants remember me, give some recommendations and make my stay a very nice event.

Simple restaurant and the service is ok, but food was exactly what I was looking for. Had both of my favorite dishes and they were just like you would get in Thailand.

I've been having dinner here because read good reviews on Tripadvisor. Have to say that the restaurant is very small and not very nice. Also the staff is not friendly don't speak English too well. The bad part was to be surrounded by grimy old English men having dinner with young Chinese from the nearby clubs (yes those kind of... More

If you are looking for real good Thai food this is the place. I discussed and ordered a menu for 6 persons with Ms.Wong some weeks before and the evening we went here everything was perfect. The service was very efficient. The taste of the food is as good as in Thailand. My friends didn't expect to have such a... More

Very good value and very good food. Would totally recommend this place. It is not the most flashy place I have ever eaten but eating on a budget, this is a definite yes! Food is absolutely lovely, I can't recommend it enough. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed...

Thank Robert W

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
