Being in B2 in a dingy commercial building, you would have feared the food would match its location. But we were well rewarded for our persistence in finding the restaurant. The Claypot rice, topped with waxed meats and Chinese sausages, was fragrant and delicious. The waxed meats did not overpower and the rice beneath caught all the flavours that trickled... More

The situation was not easy to find, but we finally round the restaurant on the second lower level! The service sans very good and the food was impressive. I recommand this place to the Chinese food lovers.

This restaurant was located next to our hotel and certainly Lei Garden is a reputable branding Hong Kong. The service was average. The decor was certainly dated and the building itself was dingy... The Peking duck was nice enough. However, the vegetable dish was not worth what we had to pay - sautéed cabbage & 4 pieces of mushrooms. Perhaps... More

We were referred to this restaurant from Hotel staff .Expensive small portions and very fatty food. The prawns has not been cooked properly as they were greasy . On our bill our Asian studies friend saw that they had written foreigner when we queried this they sais that so we would get our food all at once which we didn't.... More

We tracked this restaurant down to the sub-basement of an older block and we're excited by the buzz which was coming up the stairs. All but one other table appeared to be locals, which we thought would be a good sign. Not many of the staff could speak enough English to answer the questions we had about items on the... More

This place is great if you want some really good Chinese food. It is hard to find as it is in the back of an old complex but it is definitely well worth the effort. The food was delicious and it is where all the locals come for a good lunch. The waiters were good but one tried to sell... More

We eventually found it at the northeast end of the basement. Lots of locals found it too. We were looking for a good meal at a local place and that's what we got.

We went with a family of 6 and a friend. The service was ok but unfriendly and ag times unattentive, lack of english speaking staff. We felt rushed to order and surprised of some food presentations, also were not aware a barbequed item comes cold. Food was ok but we did not have a good experience. Prices on the higher... More

The dim sum here was to a high standard, but not better than other restaurants. We ordered pea-leaves and bok choy as extras, and they were both cooked very well, definitely above average. The restaurant was crowded with locals, always a good sign, and they had trouble coming up with an English menu (they did eventually) which is also a... More
