Hadn't dined here in a few years so was nice to come back. You could well forget for a moment you are in Hong Kong - such is the artistic decor of this place. Service was first rate. Chose the mushroom soup for starters and the grilled cheese for main course. Excellent choice! Opted for dessert but I was really... More

The little wooden room bring you to a cozy house to enjoy Swiss food. Cheese fondue is the best I ever had! They also have raclette cheese and in Dec, they will have it freshly carved in front of you. You can't stay away from it.It is unbelievably yummy!

Having been to Chesa a number of times due to it great decor, nice staff and previously also the food....it has come to a point where the food consistency is lacking. Overcooked Raclette, dry and with crust as waits too long under heat before being served.....so it loses the flavor, Frog legs to be tasted by the management....as basically tasteless... More

Been visiting this restaurant for the last 20 something years but this time they lost a very loyal customer. Service was terrible as my Appetiser, I ordered sausage salad but got mixed salad and main course ordered saucisson vaudoise, but got veal sausage. I had to eat my main course after all the other people finished theirs, group of 7... More

This is the Peninsula quality. It's so confident to enjoy dinner. Chesa offers Switzerland cuisine, Fondue, Raclette, Cheese plate, Salami and prosciutto crudo. Lamb chops was also so nice taste. And one of good point is their original wine (White & Red) are great. It's popular restaurant, so you should book in advance.

I came with my girlfriend hoping to make her discover raclette. Unfortunately, the raclette comes in a plate, cheese already melt with 4 small potatoes ( size of a thumb...) and with radish, pickles and olives!? I was expecting to melt the cheese myself or at least the waiter doing it in front of us. I was expecting some hams... More

Came here for traditional swiss fondue and came with a strong recommendation from a swiss friend, but the service ruined this experience. Not what you would expect from the Peninsula but the waiters here were really poor. We had to ask for refills of wine nearly every time (they probably didn't sell as many bottles as a result) and when... More

We had dinner with friends at Chesa. Food was good and tasty but service was completely unprofessional: extremely slow, meat sauce was brought after we had eaten half of the meat and the chocolate sauce for the HK$190 dessert was served 10 minutes after we finished dessert. When we made a comment about it, waiters just raised their shoulders and... More

This Swiss restaurant is located in The Peninsula, decorated like a small cottage on the Swiss Alps, offering a cozy and comfortable environment as well as good food to customers looking for a romantic and comfortable dinner. Seated on a couch we ordered the dishes recommended by Maitre D' Lau for sharing. For starter, we had the Crab Meat Pancake... More
