I was trying to reserve a table for 15 people for a family gathering, we were asked to pay an advanced deposit of HK$2,000, which I think it is fair for such a large group reservation. When I arrived at the restaurant and got ready to pay for the deposit, the manager told me that I had to pay for... More

I normally go here for lunch. It was recommended to me by a friend and surprising it was good. Setlunch was affordable and good. Good service and cozy seating in the sofa. Sadly, the quality of the steak has change , i know my steak and they definitely change it lately. Should give it a try.!

Wonderful cosy restaurant, manager Robles Dennis so welcoming and friendly. Well worth visiting for a traditional Italian meal. Very close to the Hong Kong Convention Centre 3 minute walk.

We went 4 italian ppl for dinner 10 days ago and we had some appetizers and pasta, coming along with Tuscany red wine. Pasta was eatable but nothing to do with Italy, most choices are just invented, I would suggest the management to improve the dishes and also to rewrite the menu, full of grammar mistakes. Appetizers were very good... More

A small but nice Italian restaurant. The service was very good, and the prices were reasonable. Would definitely go back for a casual lunch or diner.

This was our last full day in China and we spotted this area while taking the Mid rise escalators up to the Peak. We made out back to SoHo afterwards for lunch and found lots of restaurants in this area having lunch specials. As we didn't have Italian food for some time we decided to eat at Al Dente. The... Had lunch with 2 other friends. Service less than enthusiastic. Formaggi pasta was dissapointing. Starters and mains served all at once, so had to fork my salad and pasta at the same time. Not pleasant experience.

I was walking around Wan Chai and not sure of what or where to eat when the manager flagged me down from across the street. They had a 2 for 1 drink happy hour going and were playing Eagles music so I figured, why not. The manager was friendly and the staff was very responsive. I ordered mussels in a... More

This was the restaurant at 23 Harbour road at Wanchai. Staying at the Renaissance Harbour view it is 2 minutes walk and it is undercover.....this is important :) this was the best food we had in HK and the prices were approx £25 each for 2 courses including wine. I was a little reticent at visiting as it is in... More

Had eaten at their Harbor Road branch in Wanchai 2-3 times already all during dinner time. They have a good quiet atmosphere especially on weeknights, weekends can be a bit busy thus the servers could sometimes not notice you. We tried the Salmon Pasta, Rib-eye steak, their Pizza...our favorite was the Rib-eye steak, cooked well-done as we requested and it... More

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
