The staff is very friendly. Portion is generous while food is just average. I have tried the fried yak noodles (36 yuan) and vegetable soup (22 yuan). Just next to yak hotel, its location is unbeatable.

We had the best vegetarian momo (Tibetan dumplings) ever in this restaurant! Their Tibetan noodle soup thentuk was good, too.

A must-go in Lhasa... amazing food, wonderful staff and atmosphere, an all around perfect experience! We went several times while in Lhasa and loved every meal. Both traditional and western food available, so it's great it you're just acclimating to your surroundings and/or craving tastes from home! Also, wifi available and many wonderful photographs of Tibetan life to appreciate (taken... More

We were at this restaurant with friends after a visit to the portals palace, the view from up there is nice and food is ok. I had Yak and noodles and rice. They also have barley beer. Prices are very inexpensive.

We ate at this restaurant twice and loved it! It is owned by a Dutch woman and her family and sets high standards that are appreciated by western guests... The hummus sandwich/coleslaw was very good and filling, the Lassi drinks tasty and the atmosphere was clean, warm, and welcoming. My husband had a Yak sandwich which tasted like roast beef... More

The courteous reception in this big restaurant with a second floor bar and terrace, gives way to a more occidental feel than most Lhasa restaurants. Owned by Dutch proprietors, it offers a traditional menu and some Western offerings including good belgian and Tibetan beer. I have grown fond of the Lhasa brand beer made from barley. The service including prompt... More

We went to this restaurant was just because it was near our hotel. They provided us English menu and we ordered noddle soup, yak steak and salad. Food was tasty, the point was the staff easily spot my wife has minor AMS and recommended some tips and a hot drink (RMB15). Not sure it was the effect of the drink,... More

Eat here for breakfast every day while we stayed in the Yak hotel next door in Lhasa. Not a bad breakfast, a little lacking in choice. Very friendly people and good fun. Dinner is pretty good too with lots of choice. After being out on the road eating rice for a few days, the yak/cheese burger is a welcome sight... More

We were recommended by our Dutch travel agency (Namaste) to visit this restaurant and after some hesitation because it is further away from our hotel we went after all on our first night in Lhasa. Since then we went 3 consecutive evenings as we find it so reassuring to find such a clean place, with very friendly staff and good... More
