Good food though on the pricier side. Limited choices on the menu but they do an excellent job with what they serve. Bar has a good range and the staff is quite prompt

I found this restaurant absolutely gorgeous, soft lighting and beautiful people. Ordered an escargot as appetiser and a duck confit as main course. Worst escargot I have ever had. It was so overdone that the butter was flaky and dry. The duck confit was equally disappointing. Done to the point of conpletely dry of any moisture and taste. If you... More

Even for Jakarta, this is unbelievable. Any restaurant that does not offer *any* non-smoking tables will not get my business and shouldn't get yours.

Met a co-worker for lunch there before some shopping. The French Onion Soup was the best I've had in Jakarta so far. Also tried the Gulosh that was actually more like a Beef Vegetable Soup. Regardless, it was very good and I do recommend you try it if in the mood for that type of thing. The iced tea was... More

Our TGIF event was to dine and had a chit chat. So my colleagues and I googled and found Loewy. Since it's located not far from our office, we decided to dine there. The resto was packed with people that we almost couldnt get table. We did get, lucikly and we had our dinner. In terms of food, the menu... More

Popped down for an early evening drink with a few business friends at the bar. The place was buzzing with energy. The bar staff are very attentive and helpful. Great evening had :)

The idea to establish Loewy was a spontaneous one: that there is a need in Jakarta for a casual bistro – an everyday place with an interesting but accessible menu, a well-designed but informal décor, and adding to the mix: a buzzing, energetic bar serving the best, stiffest drinks in town. The inspiration came from traditional Parisian bistros by way of New York City. The style of the interior is retro/classic with a modern interpretation. The original Thonet chairs, the leather banquet seats, the subway beveled tiles, the tin and copper ceiling panels, the white brick walls; evoking this “Paris bistro meets New York loft in the 1940’s feel. It is then combined with a modern layout and concept, creating an overall ambience that is uncluttered, clean, understated, and timeless.
