We ordered a bunch of food, there was curry ramen, itawasa, potato age, gyoza, fried rice, curry ramen, tonkotsu ramen, cheese miso ramen, you know what, a lot!. Food wise, I think it's worth it's price. However the server did completely forget to inform that 2 bowls of ramen will be late (it was served to my buddies after the... More

I love ramen so much and in this restaurant you can taste the best ramen in the town. This is not halal food. The place is just ordinary but the food is good, and the price is really affordable. Its not too pricey for the nice and the best taste of ramen in jakarta.

I went here with a friend, the place was packed with Japanese - we thought foods also prepared and cooked by japanese chefs, however turns out locals did. The taste is so-so, the price is so-so. Ocha (japanese green tea) no longer free, and the only good food to eat here is their Gyoza which are so yum! I have... More

I don't remember how many times I've ever visited...If you would like to eat real Japanese Ramen in Jakarta, Echigoya is one of the very best recommendable Ramen shops there. The owner is a genuine Japanese man who always cooks in the kitchen together with the well-trained staff. Noodle is made in house and soup is very delicious, but price... More

Echigoya had a good mix of locals and Japanese expats so it looked promising but the ramen was way too salty. Apparently they don't use MSG so it seems they lace the broth with salt. Noticed that in Jakarta, a lot of the food is either too sweet or salty. This was definitely the latter. Gyoza dumplings were fine but... More

Im not an expert on Ramen, however I have tried a few places in Jakarta and I think that I have had the tastiest Ramen here. The taste is real and does not feel like it is made from some type of powder mixed with water. You can taste the different ingredients and it is not too salty like most... More

I often visit this restaurant for an easy Japanese dinner and a beer. The place seems to be authentic and it is visited by many Japanese. Different ramen dishes to try. All good.

Love the ramen in thick broth. The owner heads the kitchen himself and the ramen is freshly made in the premise.

Been there several times. It is a nice and easy place. Not expensive but the food is good. You can have some appetizer with a beer and then some traditional noodles. For sure I will be back.

Echigoya isnt a fine dining place, but it offers excellent fresh food at fair prices. The Ramen selection is big and nobody I know was disappointed. They slso have good Gyoza, Kimchi, those triangle shaped rice dumplings that are wrapped in sea-wheet and are filled with Salmon. Staff is super friendly and I look forward to my next visit...
