Mothermade quality pancakes. Very delicious salad as well. Also a lot of typical Dutch dishes and 'real yoghurt' and of course very fine coffee.

Lovely garden setting, friendly host and delicious meatball and apple tarte! It was a lovely little getaway from the rest of touristy jogja. The guesthouse looks nice too, might stay there on my next trip. Pity that the traffic sounds could not be blocked-- it was still pretty noisy!- but still, a lovely place to while away an evening.

I came here a few times... my favourites are the freshly-made baguette and mayo dressing in olive oil that comes with the chicken sandwich and the tuna pasta. The plain yogurt with gula jawa is excellent... smells so fresh and refreshing! (Skip the yogurt with fruits because the yogurt is so little). JL Coffee House is a nice place to... More

My boyfriend and I (both Dutch) went here for breakfast. After 5 weeks traveling in Asia we craved some good old Dutch food, and we got what we hoped for. Their meatball sandwich is really delicious :) The staff and owner are very friendly and the garden/terrace is green, quiet and beautiful. It was a very nice getaway. If we... More

Went here on a recommendation, but didn't find anything too special. Bread is good and staff are pleasant but nothing amazing. Decent breakfast.

I've had breakfast/brunch here twice during my stay in Jogja. I can highly recommend the fresh baguettes: crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, with many options for toppings. Delicious! They also make their own Dutch apple pie and fresh yoghurt. The Dutch owner, Joan, is friendly, welcoming and you can tell she's passionate about the things that... More

Warm and lovely dutch restaurant. Ask them their recommendation and Mrs. Joan will bring it for you. Plus her warmness and genuine smile.

This café has a lovely garden. The owner and the chef herself, Mrs Joan is a very nice lady. She greeted us with big warm smile. We enjoyed the drinks while she preparing the food. We all really enjoy this yummy traditional dutch cuisine, as we also can feel the freshness of the food. There was no other guest on... More

We found this little coffee house a delight in wonderful but busy Yogya. We had fresh lemonade and ice cream with fresh fruit. It was really good, also safe to eat for people like me who do not react all that well to certain 'food-challenges' here in Indonesia. The coffee house has a clean (western) bathroom which was great in... More
