In my opinion, the food was average. We were not impressed by the taste of the food. we found it overpriced for the quality received. In NYC there are numerous of Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi restaurants expensive and "corner restaurants". We found this one to be on the "corner restaurant" category. The attention was good. portions were fine as well.... More

They have a lot of options in food but still you get the feeling like you get something home cooked everytime and then we just loved to be able to sit right on the beach or sit bare feet on the floor eating It is spicy but lovely food

good ambiance. but the food is expensive and awful. as an Indian i can tell when Indian food is good, i strongly advise that they get an Indian cook.

Got the chicken masala curry, one of the spiciest curries I've ever had, really enjoyed it. Also got two banana shakes to help, they were definitely needed. Would definitely come back here and recommend.

True food is the only Indian restaurant in Boracay. Food is bit pricey but portions are large. The speciality is Naan. Dont miss Naan of true food. Rest food is good except snacks which are just average. Its worth a visit if you are in Boracay

What an awful experience. As lovers of Indian food we were looking forward to eating here, what a disappointment they should be ashamed of the rubbish they served. We ordered one Vindaloo and two tikka masala. We were very specific that we wanted breast meat in all curries. My Vindaloo arrived, I have seen more appetizing dog vomit...whilst poking through... Ordered chicken 65, vegetable biryani, and aloo jeera. Really huge servings, maybe good for 2-3 people. Not good but not too bad. Although there was a chicken part that tasted old. My partner has had naan from them and he said it wasn't good. While we were eating, a customer walked off without paying because we think he had a... More

As a British national, I love curry! This place served up a great garlic naan. The dhaal dish I had was average (although all the portions were huge!) the chicken tikka masala was on the bone, which wasn't expected or explained prior to order. The rice was fine but nothing to shout about. We had the buy one get one... More

Every year, I go to Boracay for vacation and every year, it is a must for me to dine here in True Food. I love Indian food and True Food never fails to satisfy my craving. The price to dine here is on the high side, but the dishes are good for two people. I will keep coming back to... More

We tried the food today. Being British I love Indian Food but was very disappointed with the this place. Food is OK but expensive and is not authentic Indian, seems to be more pepper spicy than Ginger. Nan bread is good, rice was dry, Lamb Vinaloo wasn't very disappointing, Fish Korma is not made with fresh fish. A good place... More
