Few of my favorite things at Dos Mestizos: Sal Picao (Beef Tenderloin Cubes cooked with loads of garlic), Fried Oysters, Pulpo (tender octopus) and Flamenco Night! Love the cozy atmosphere!

This place is high in TripAdvisor and I am really sad to say it has failed us. I use TA a lot for food and hotel selection. Now I'm just praying I don't get sick for 5 days after eating here. There was no one there - I'm surprised they get reviews based on how little clientele they have. The... More

Please accept our deepest apologies for your experience at Dos Mestizos. We take all reviews very seriously and strive to improve with every criticism. Your experience is a rare occurrence for our restaurant. All our seafood is bought fresh daily in the market and all our paellas are cooked fresh to order. What happened to your table is inexcusable. We... More

We were excited to try this place based on the reviews, our experience was awful. We ordered 2 mojitos - which were served in a glass half full - perhaps the bartender forgot we ordered 2 and split one drink into 2 ? We had the palleya, the clams weren't cleaned which left a trail of sand through the entire... More

We apologize for the experience you had at our restaurant. We take all reviews very seriously and appreciate all feedback. Our seafood is bought at the local market fresh daily and are cleaned thoroughly. There is no excuse for gritty clams in your paella. Your server should have noticed your discomfort and had the paella exchanged for a new one... More

Probably the worst half chicken I ever had. Wife had pawns half cooked, was in Boracay seventeen days and was the only place I got sick from the food.

We apologize for your unsatisfactory experience at our restaurant. We take all reviews very seriously and strive to improve with each one. There is no excuse for your Langostinos to come undercooked, and we apologize profusely. We wish you had informed your server so we could have replaced your dish and cooked a new one thoroughly. Our Pollo al Ajillo... More

The restaurant itself is very cozy and has a rich atmosphere. Classy, but far from stiff. Pleasant lighting and great ambiance. We started with some sangria and the chef helped us pick out a mix of tapas and other dishes. I was happy to be surprised, instead of having to pick and choose from the menu myself. The presentation of... More

A cut above most of the restaurants on Boracay without being silly money. We ate there twice including our last night meal which is always taken at the best restaurant we have eaten at . Nice atmosphere - good food and sensibly priced wine. Varied menu and the tapas are first class. The girls put their posh frocks on for... More

Thank you for your great review of Dos Mestizos. Was an absolute pleasure serving you both. The girls appreciate your notice of their posh frocks, and rest assured even though our restaurant may be a bit on the classy side as compared to others on the island, we are still a Boracay restaurant and welcome all guests, speedos and slippers... The place is so cozy, a piece of Spain in Boracay. The food is pricey but worth it. I love paella and salpicao de baka. The singers were great and worth coming back for more.

I love their food. Friendly helpful courteous staff. Their shakes are tasty and you can request not to add sugar.

Picked it because of TA ratings for our first night in Boracay. The food was good, not great, but very pricey. We didn't go back.
