Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place was recommended to me so we went out of our way to find it. Was it worth it? Absolutely not! My expectations was a bustling food stall market. When we got here there are Total of 11 stalls. The area is bright and...clean and has an Average amount of patrons as to be expected in Singapore. We got two lime drinks from gluttons bar (the only place serving drinks) and they were delicious. We ordered the cabonara from saporita and the portion size was equivalent to a kids meal with the expense of a restaurant price. Taste was it was rather average aNd nothing to write home about. We have had better at hawkers markets for a third of the cost! Would I recommend you come here? No.More

Good small hawker's market in one of the pricier areas of an expensive City. We shared some delicious beef & chicken satay sticks (10) from the Malaysian stall, before fish cakes (10) from one of the Thai ones. Great, tasty grazing - just what you...need in a hot, humid climate.More

Great outdoor food market with plenty of choice. Interesting variety of food available. We had Pad Thai and Mi Goreng and both were fantastic.

Compared to other hawker markets in Singapore, this one is a bit overpriced. We enjoyed the Pakistani stall, specifically the biryani (the beef kebab was good, but a bit too soft for our liking). We were not impressed with the mee goreng we ordered, but...only tried two stalls. Each gives you a buzzer for when your food is ready. It was very busy and you can get seats, you just have to walk around and see who is leaving to grab a spot.More

So much choice! It was so difficult to decide which stall to order from as there were so many. It was extremely busy but we managed to get a table. We all ordered from different stalls & we all really enjoyed our meal. Chaotic but...cheap & tasty!More

I do not recommend Hong Kong Street Lao Zhen Ji at this location. The staff's attitude was terrible, and when eating the chili crab, they did not provide scissors, ignored us, and our hands became sticky, almost cutting them on the...crab shells. It is often recommended on websites and articles, but I don't think it's worth a visit (the taste is not good). Please be cautious, everyone.More

We visited this hawker center across the bay from Marina Bay Sands. The food was decently priced for Singapore and more importantly, the food was delicious! With a variety of cultural cuisines to choose from, you’re sure to receive gracious helping sizes to keep you...filled for walking the Bay Area after! Be sure to bring your own napkins when you go!More

Really good value for money. I had a chicken satay and a fried rice dish with prawns, washed down with a tiger beer for about £15. I preferred this place to Newton which had more choice but was more expensive.

Disappointing food and very overpriced for what you it is! We had the meat pancakes from one vendor which was nice but average. Our second dish was from the kebab karahi place and it was horrendous as we waited almost 20-25 mins for our food...and that was only after my husband complained about the wait. He was told there were no kebabs left so we asked for a refund but they refused! They gave us a substitute beef roll which was disgusting and and insult considering we’d paid $S34!!! Others were also complaining about the long wait. Avoid as there are better hawkers food centres like Haig Rd in Singapore and much more reasonably priced too. A total rip off!More

Expensive and avoid Kebab Korai. Ate at Kebab and Korai, two kebabs and naan 34SGD took 20mins wait, asked for a refund as taken too long, she said no refunds, so rude in her reply and they ran out of mutton kebabs, no choice and...gave me beef instead. Others also waited a long time for poor food. Avoid this restaurant like a plague better hawkers centres nicer and less expensive min try Haig Road.More

We ate here three times on a recent visit to Singapore. This was very handy for our hotel so we didn't bother looking at other hawker centres. We enjoyed our meals - a curry the first night, a pizza, and satay the third - they...definitely hit the spot after long days exploring. Prices were ok, certainly much cheaper than the restaurants next door, though I accept that there may well be cheaper hawker centres elsewhere. It can take a while to get a table (although there is a covered area with tables off to one side at the road end - this was less-heavily used). It was especially busy on Saturday (of course!). Note that it's closed on Monday. This was an interesting and fun experience, with a good meal thrown in!More

Nice view over the bay but average food. More expensive than other places. The food we tried was ok but I know better places in Singapore and especially better hawkers. Still it’s nice to sit closed by the water and enjoy beautiful surroundings. As there...is a new building right in front of Marina bay you cannot see Marina Gardens anymore.More

There a limited number of stalls here but you can find good food options nonetheless. Other hawker centers in Singapore are much bigger. The bonus is that the location at the Esplanade is great for viewing the nightly fountains and lights show over at Marina...Bay Sands.More

After a sightseeing in Marina Bay had a relaxing time at this spot. Hawkers selling Beer (tiger), Indian food, pizza and really tasty seafood. A bit expensive street food, though. 20SGD for 7 garlic prawns.

Modus operandi is cash...did not notice any cashless option...like me, those who bought food and drinks at those stalls patronised paid cash. The hawkers probably prefers cash...
