The hawker centre at Changi Village is an enigmatic affair full of bustling daily life, long queues for food especially the Nasi Lemak stall famous the world over. A visit to this hawker centre for locally prepared is a must for anyone visiting Changi. The...quality of food is fantastic and quality beyond reproach. It’s true the Nasi Lemak is an explosion of flavours to behold and in my opinion the best in Singapore. Having said that don’t be afraid to try the other outlets and their superb offerings. Just Go.More

Quite a variety of stalls, all very reasonably-priced. Had the soup wanton mee, only $3, delicious with 3 large wantons, a few slices of char siew and stalks of chye sim. The young hawker also sells chicken rice, good chilli sauce. Had a tehsi kosong...at only $1 from Yong Ka, nicely hot and good flavour. Most stalls well-patronized especially by the bus crew. Didn't try the famous nasi lemak as not a fan of deep-fried chicken wings. The only drawback was rather poor lighting and much dirtier compared to other hawker centres which had been refurbished but thankfully sink and soap easily available. Fun to explore the surrounding shops selling fishing gear, T-shirts and household goods.More

The best Mee Soto, Satay and Desserts. Where? Where? Look no further than Changi Village Hawker Centre. Changi Village Satay has THE best Mee Soo and Satay. The Mee Soto soup is light and doesnt leave you thirsty. The Satay is well marinated and the...gravy is delish. Wash it down with a cold Cheng Tng or Sea Coconut Jelly from Changi V Dessert House. Take a stroll along the beach and enjoy the sunset and if you feel peckish, Head back to the Hawker Centre for round 2. Its worth it.More

Had lunch from a western stall (cannot recall the unit number). Chicken cutlet fried rice with egg at $5.50. Worth it for the price. Stall closed before 1pm. This western stall and the kopi stall next door had a steady flow of customers.

Tuck away at a corner of Changi Village is a hawker centre that would be familiar to many male locals who have either done their Basic Military Training (BMT) on Pulau Tekong or their National Service at one of the camps around the area. It...is not a big place compared to other neighborhood hawker centres, but it does holds a special significance to many. There are plenty of food choices here, like all hawker centres there is halal and non-halal food options available. The type of food available is just amazing, there are different local noodles and rice variations, ranging from usual chicken rice to Ipoh hor fun. The place will always be known for its nasi lemak, but there are still many other local favorites that one has to sample like fried carrot cake, BBQ chicken wing and fried banana fritters too. Over the years some stalls may have changed hands and the place has also undergone renovation and upgrade a few times. But it still have lots of quality food that are very wallet friendly. A hearty meal should not set you back more than ten local dollars, with this amount you get yourself a main course, a freshly squeezed fruit or sugar cane juice and even a local sweet dessert. As the place is not very big, seats are limited so do not be surprise if you have to share with others to dine there, especially during lunch and dinner time. Parking is another challenge as it is very limited. So the best bet is to grab the public transport to get there. But all these minor inconveniences will quickly be forgotten once you get your hands on the food. Somehow food just taste better here; maybe because it is locate close to the sea, maybe it due to the memories the place holds. After the meal, a stroll along the beachfront or exploring the shophouses around the area is a must. Apart from soaking in the atmosphere of the place, it is a good way to digest all the yummy food and burn some calories. The Changi Village hawker centre is truly special. Having a meal there is probably a rite of passage for many and it will always be part of an unique experience for all that has been there.More

Food range wise it is pretty good, with the various local hawker dishes and sufficient seating. However, the place (tables and floors) are really quite dirty and hardly cleared, so it can be a bit gross really, with leftover food all over the place. We...try not to think about what's been on the floor.More

You will expect a lot of excellent local cuisine at very affordable rates and in large portion. The eating place are two segments. The more crowded segment is where you will find famous stalls like Mizzy Corner nasi lemak and Ho Guan Satay Beehoon. If...you want to try the best grilled chicken in Singapore, head to the quieter segment and look for Ayam Bakar Ibu Rosmita. A large plate of Ayam Bakar (grilled chicken) costs $5 per plate!More
