Superb service and hospitality.
Simple, quiet and classy ambience.
Chef came out just to say hello to us and we had a great chat.
The taste was exquisite with complexity of taste.
I sense that the Chef has out in much effort and pride in his food. They used expensive and fresh ingredients. They gave us a complimentary tiramisu dessert with the well wishes ‘All The Best’ written on the plate. Such a thoughtful gesture. It added delight to my dining experience. I ordered both the 5-course Italian tasting menu and 5-source Japanese tasting menu which cost $138++ for each set. Citibank credit card enjoyed 20% discount which was a huge saving.

On our two night staycation at the Hilton we reserved a table for lunch at the Japanese -Italian restaurant on the 23rd floor overlooking the pool. We were told that they had just one more table, and we could well understand why after enjoying the wonderful meal. We took the two course lunch opting for the appetiser of white fish carpaccio with crumbled seaweed topping and the main course of pasta with uni (sea urchin). Both were pieces of art in presentation and taste. The fish was fresh, tasty and dusted with crisp seaweed crumble and yuzu sauce. The pasta and uni were just right in the taste, neither salty nor bland, exquisitely rounded and melt in the mouth. The bread basket contained different types of bread, crisp, unique in tasty and texture dipped in olive oil in true Italian fashion.
Tea and coffee comes at the end of the meal, about $50 per person. Staff were helpful and kind and the view of the pool added to the holiday ambience.

Brought my girlfriend here for her birthday dinner.
The Japanese 5-course tasting menu was amazing and great value, the scallops were just amazing.
Interval between dishes was just right and there was no rush at all.
The chef even came out to speak with us to make sure we were satisfied with the food.
Service was top-notch.

The atmosphere is relaxing. It is beside a pool and at level 24, the skyline is picture perfect. The setting is comfortable fine dining.
Food is prepared with great creativity to whet the appetite without losing quality.
Every serving comes with a brief information of what you see on the plate.
Pacing of food is unhurried.
The combination of good atmosphere, food and service makes the dining experience unforgettable.

il Cielo is an Italian fine dining restaurant located at Hilton hotel Singapore, helm by Japanese Chef Mr Yohhei Sasaki. Japanese influence can be seen in his italian dishes like the use of seasonal ingredients, innovative flavour pairing and delicate aesthetics. All these were observed during my last dining experience with them.
The restaurant is located on level 24, Hilton hotel Singapore, right beside the hotel pool. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a minimalistic restaurant front. We were seated at a corner of the restaurant as I believed there was some event going on at the main dining area which was fine. We didn’t call in to make any reservation and we were thankful to get a table. Like the front of the restaurant, the inside seems to blend in well with that minimalistic theme that the restaurant seems to apply.
We had cream of Japanese pumpkin soup, pan roasted foie gras and Bruschetta al pomodoro e burrata for starters. For mains, I had the linguine aglio olio ai ricci de mare (fresh Hokkaido sea urchin, sardinia bottarga and yuzu). Obviously the sea urchin was an infusion of the chef’s Japanese influence. Wife had the pan roasted Angus beef tenderloin drizzled with miso beef juice sauce. Ended the meal with the traditional Italian dessert of tiramisu.
The foie gras has two dimension to its texture. The outside was crisp and the inside melted in my mouth. The balsamic sauce cuts through the oiliness in the taste perfectly and further complemented by the greens on the plate. As for the pumpkin soup, the use of fried rosemary and truffle cream had definitely enhanced the taste. It was not only delicious, but also aromatic with every spoon of the soup brought to the mouth. The linguine, with the fresh sea urchin and yuzu produced a rather dynamic experience for my taste buds. The different flavours coming together inside my mouth was astounding. The infusion of yuzu into the dish had created an additional dimension in the taste department of the pasta dish. It cuts through it and eliminated the heaviness and instead, creates a refreshing aftertaste. The Angus beef was cooked to perfection (medium rare), pink and tender! In fact, every dishes that we was awesome with the different flavours coming together. From the presentation, to the ingredients used, we felt that every plate was well thought through by Chef Yohhei Sasaki!
The only complain we had was the proximity of the table right behind us. We could hear their conversation literally and that took away the feeling of exclusivity in fine dining. Other than that, the food was amazing and service staff attentive and professional.
Do check out this restaurant as I am strongly recommending it. The coming-together of two heavy-weights in culinary cultures globally; the Italian and Japanese cuisine will definitely blow your mind away with the Creative use of ingredients by Chef Yohhei Sasaki!

Had a celebratory birthday dinner here and had 2 degustation menu alongside 2 main dishes of Hokkaido Uni Spaghetti and Oyster Ragout as well an appetizer of Kinmedai Carpaccio.
The staffs Sarah, Boh Li and Cai Ying were very attentive and took great care of us. I was impressed by their attention to detail, ensuring that the courses were served in a timely and appropriate manner given that that we had ala carte orders alongside the degustation menu. There was a complimentary birthday cake and even printed a polaroid for us to remember the joyous occasion which I thought was a very nice touch. Props to the service team for going the length.
As for the food, Chef Sasaki really executed them really well. The amuse bouche of cone with crab and topped with Ikura encapsulated the essence of the meal "Bold & Strong flavors". Almost all the items had a very nice flavor to it especially the sauces. Top picks would be the Oyster Ragout and Lobster & Black Truffle Capellini which both packed a punch.
Perched atop the 24th floor of Hilton Hotel one would also get to enjoy the panoramic view of Orchard Road. Ideal location for dates or celebrating joyous occasions definitely recommend!

This restaurant has an indoor/outdoor concept. This is good but connecting to the hotel pool probably doesn't do it justice for a fine dining restaurant. The meals were extremely creative with the dishes being a fusion of Italian and Japanese. Very well done! We like to eat family style with sharing plates which was no issue to the staff so we enjoyed several dishes - the burrata, squid and the duck. All amazing!

My wife and I dined and had a beautiful meal. The team were very accommodating with explaining the menus for my wife who is coeliac and substituted GF pasta for her choice. Chef even came and introduced himself and checked on the meal. The bruschetta deconstructed was amazing, both pasta dishes we had and the ricotta uzu dessert. We had food envy from everyone having the tasting menu. We will def have on our next trip.

We had an amazing dinner experience at Il Cielo for our anniversary dinner ❤️
Service is fast and smooth, staff is very attentive, food is served on timely manner, nice ambience and of course delicious Japanese pasta.
We tried the Hokkaido seaurchin & lobster truffle pasta. They both cook into perfection by the chef, but our fave is still the lobster pasta :)
Price is quite on the $$$ side, but it's worthed.
Afterall is our anniversary dinner 🥰
Special thanks to Didacus, Cai Ying, Boh hi, Sarah & Chef Sasaki for the great service & amazing dinner experience.

Staff was accommodating to our change of seat arrangements as we prefer outdoor setting than in indoor. They were patience in having us to decide on our order and was knowledgeable in their product item. Plating of food was great. I had the meat dish (pork) - couldn't exactly remembered the name of the dish, the meat was tender and juicy with the sacue it was exactly perfect. Had a very great birthday dinner here and would really introduce my friends to come here again. Thank you for the dedication on food and service.

I'd over the weekend gone to Il Cielo for my 10th anniversary celebration and I have to say that the service was exceptional. Having dined at many other establishments of similar offerings, I could tell that their wait staff was really trained with high standards from what I usually experience elsewhere.
Kudos to Sarah (most attentive and detailed-oriented staff), Cai Ying and Boh Li for catering to our every need right down to even taking photos for us (!). Last but definitely not the least many thanks to the talented Chef Yohhei Sasaki & his hard-at-work team who produced such an exquisite meal that I've already placed an advance booking for Valentine's Day without knowing what the menu will behold :)

My partner brought me here for my birthday dinner two nights ago, and I’m still reeling from the amazing night. We ordered different items from the 4 course menu (honestly we could not choose between the various menus because they all sound so good), and there was absolutely no disappointment - we cleaned out our plates! In particular, I loved my pasta with cod, uni and ikura... what a burst of fresh seafood flavour! The portions were just right, kept us anticipating the next dish and yet not fill you up uncomfortably at the end of the meal.
The ambience of the place and meticulous service of the staff complemented the night. I would not think twice to come back if I wanted a great meal with special ones.

It was a birthday treat from my wife. As title suggests, the food was amazing. We had the summer special menu and the Japanese tasting menu. The dishes were however not served in 'tasting menu' size, causing us to fill our bellies with joy. More importantly, each dish was not only delicious, but was aesthetically appealing as well. We could tell they were all well thought of.
Were delightfuly greeted by the chef towards the end of the course and we were of coz happy to tell how much we love the dishes.
A pity is that the restaurant is near a bar. There were intermittent noises but we are generally fine with the dining experience.

Brought my wife here for her birthday. Had a great set lunch here whilst waiting for my room to be ready. Service staff was courtesy, and attentive at all times. The food was great. Pricing was reasonable given the service, taste and ingredients. Every dish was excellent, special mention for the tenderloin. This was the most tender tenderloin I ever had.
The staff also presented my wife with a special dessert given that it was her birthday (which I had totally forgotten despite mentioning it during my reservation), which she enjoyed very much.
I had enjoyed my meal here and would be back again for the set lunch in future for special occasions.
The staff had requested for us to leave a review, which we were more than happy to do so.

We thoroughly enjoyed every dish, made to perfection. The ambience was cosy and the team (comprising Didacus, Cai Ying, Boh Li, Sarah) was attentive and made us feel welcomed. Chef Sasaki personally dropped by to chat with us and helped us understand more about some of his dishes. The team also prepared a special dessert plate for our anniversary celebration. Really appreciate the high quality service and attention to details. Hope to be back for more!
