For anyone who eats at all and visits Singapore, Raffles Afternoon / High Tea is an experience in which you should indulge yourself. Surroundings are beautiful and hark back to a bygone age. The food is excellent and varied and would suit all tastes. As we were celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary and had mentioned it at the time of... More

There is no getting away from it but afternoon tea at Raffles is expensive (62S$ plus more for champagne or Singapore Sling) and it is a shame that you are not allowed even a peak of the hotel unless you are a guest. However if you are visiting Singapore, like luxury and want an experience in an iconic venue then... More

When we planned our visit to Singapore, everyone that had been recommended that we go to Raffles for their famous High Tea and it was certainly worth it. The scones, pastries and savouries that came to our table were full of taste and had been well thought out. The dim sum buffet was a great addition (mini croque monsieurs were... More

We love the High Tea experience and have gone to many around the world. So how could we pass up the chance to enjoy High Tea at the iconic Raffles Hotel in Singapore? This tea was different than any we have ever experienced in that they set up a buffet line of various Singaporean preparations, fruit, pastries and even scones... More

The high tea provided us with an extensive range of flavours through various desserts. The sandwiches which came were also quite delicious! The buffet was mainly Asian (dumplings, gyozas, dumplings, etc.) with some fruit, scones and other little samples. The staff were extremely friendly, courteous and respectful. I don't think that the price really justified what we got, but it's... More

As a good husband, I smiled and pretended to be excited about high tea at Raffles. Knowing full well that I had to be on my best behaviour, I donned a collared shirt and a pair of trousers and enthusiastically smiled for photos with the kids in front of the iconic hotel. After lining up for about 20 minutes and... More

A wonderful experience. As a single diner, they organised my table to have a selection of magazines, and even though I was alone, I received the same high tea platter as everyone else - too much to eat! Beware the offer of champagne etc- at $26 a glass, it is pretty steep, but that's Singapore for you. The yum cha... More

We booked prior to the day, when we initially arrived to book my partner was asked to wait outside as he was not wearing the correct attire, men collared shirt with enclosed shoes. We arrived on the afternoon were seated and high tea came out 5 min after being seated between that time we were greeted by the waiter who... More

I have looked forward to the Raffles High Tea experience and today this became a most wonderful and memorable experience. The moment you arrive at the hotel entrance we were greeted and assisted from the taxi by a charming and professional concierge. The architecture is stunning and for those who have interest in traditional and heritage buildings this one won't... More

Not now the quintessential afternoon Colonial Tea experience that you imagine from all those old films you saw in the Fifties! The need to cater for a diverse clientele means Chinese Food is offered alongside scones and pastries. However the ambience of the surroundings is unsurpassed and it's worth the money just to enjoy that.
