Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This review is of the Siglap branch which I visited for lunch with a friend. Wonderfully designed with cozy booth seats overlooking Upper East Coast Road, perfect for conversation or individual chilling out. However the best thing is the wonderful service. The young man at...the counter was so kind and attentive, said the roast beef croissant ($12.50) would be brought to the table and indeed it was, warm and crackly with lettuce and cherry tomatoes. The hot hojicha ($6.50)was sweet and frothy though I'd have preferred it in a cup than a glass. Perhaps mustard, in addition to the hot sauce at the condiments table? My friend ordered the quiche, not too salty, and the apple crumble was good too, with just that sour tang that means less sugar, which we welcomed! The young lady server is also very welcoming and helpful, on a previous occasion had told me the hojicha was a good choice, bit of caffeine with the matcha. Shall continue to haunt this place, free drinking water too and a spacious toilet with delightfully-scented cleansersMore

We bought the sourdough bread for $15 but taste was not worth the price and compared to other bakery shops, it was rather disappointing.

Was told about the bakery by our hotel as the hotel didn't offer suitable breakfasts. The bakery offers a good range of things for breakfast, and at other times too I would think. Pastries, filled rolls, coffees, juices and so forth and reasonably priced. Service...was good and polite. This place is card only, no cash. Tucked away off the main road, it's not hard to find, and we'll worth it.More

This small cafe located within the grounds of Fort Canning Park is a welcome sight in an area without many cafes. It is quite easy to find if you are walking in the park as it is shown on the sign posts located along the...paths. The staff are friendly and polite, there is seating on the outdoor deck and they serve very good coffees and croissants. The pastries and croissants are made fresh daily and make a wonderful light breakfast or morning tea break. Highly recommend!More

By far the best bakery in Singapore...we visited the Tang Plaza location every morning for cappuccino with almond & plain croissants. The lunch sandwiches & Quiche were exceptional also.

This is the original bakery near the Tiong Bahru market. It is a lovely neighbourhood to visit and then to have a coffee and pastry sat in the shop. It was busy, but not desperately so, and getting the coffees ordered and choosing our pastries...was quick but the wait until the coffees arrived was long. We could not resist starting our pastries and had finished 1/2 of them before our coffees arrived- after asking the staff for them. It is a little oasis of an European style breakfast in Singapore and worth a visit but the service for the coffee was slow.More

If you just want to try their pastry, then you can check out their outlet in Raffles City. Take the train and alight at City Hall. They have an outlet there too.
