My 1st and last time. Ordered the set meal that has soup, chicken, ngoh hiang, chap chye and dessert. We added an otah to the order. Waited about 10mins before they got us crackers and achar (part of the set meal). The belachan that came with the crackers were not fragrant, nor sufficiently flavoured. Unlike other peranakan food we had... More

Had lunch there with my family of 4. Ordered the Babi ponteh, beef rendang, sambas kang Kong and the steam fish with nonya sauce. For the price I would have expected a reasonable size Amt. However for the beef rendang there was 5 cubes only? For the ponteh it tasted super unauthentic and it did not have any potatoes. The... More

The food is good, only thing is that the Ayam Buak Kaluak they should consider having pork rib or pork leg Buak kaluak which is more original peranakan. The best is ngoh Hiang, however they are quite stingy on their Blajang Chilli.

Arrived there and the senior lady staff was not too friendly to greet us. Instead, another group behind us intercepted us and got a table, right in front of our eyes (so much for courtesy). We ordered a platter, vege and some other food. The platter consists of ngo hiang, otak, prawn etc. Food tasted nice but a little too... More

Recommended by an ex-colleague, Irene, and loved it. Nicely deep fried appetizer, mouth-watering soup, juicy meat dishes and sticky and filling desserts.

The food is so-so and not extremely fantastic for the price that we are paying. The chendol is not rich in taste and rather diluted.

Lady at the entrance is fantastique, very nice and helpfull. Other staff are less friendly. Food is good, quantity is enought, price is high, noise is awful (staff cleaning while we were eating inside) dessert is not good (hot black rice and iced tapioca with sirop) other dishes were very good !

Peranakan is the culture that emerged from the mixing of the Malay, Chinese, and Portuguese traders around Melaka and Singapore from the 1500s onward. Nyonya & Baba continues this tradition with a mix of Peranakan dishes. I had dinner here with my family and a Singaporean friend while on a stopover in January. I liked all of the dishes, especially... More
