We went to the Jurong East store. We generally love Taiwanese food, but this was unfortunately very average. We bought two set menus, which were very small portions for the expensive price paid ($13.50 + service charge + tax). We will not return.

Menu state the fried chicken is good, but when it arrive the fried chicken is too oily as the kitchen didn't bother to drain it before sending out. The oil used seem to be overuse as there is a strong smell of old is expiry. Will not consider coming again

Brought my family there and there is no space for 7 adults & 2 kids. Quite a disappointment for the dishes as the standard has dropped since we last visit. Hopefully they review their food standard soon!

Thoroughly enjoyed the meals we ordered, the staff were attentive & the drinks cold. First we had the Seafood Soup, then the Coffin Toast. The Coffin Toast was so unexpected but we all gave it a resounding appreciation. Mains: Crisp Fried Prawns with Pineapple, Noodles with Prawns & Braised Duck all were enjoyed with plenty of cold beer. The Special... More

Ate at Tampines mall branch... Can't review it. But otherwise, nothing special. Price is on the expensive side. Quite disappointed. Its a one time thing for me. The food not worth the price.

So there is nothing very bad about the place but nothing good either. When one thinks of Taiwanese street food, one is expecting good hot piping food and reality is so far away. It's just setting us up for disappointment. They have a la carte dishes but they don't have small order noodles or rice so you have to order... More

Lunch settled simply at Eat @ Taipei today - the branch at Chinatown Point. I have been to this Taiwanese restaurant at least thrice before - its exterior flanked by colorful neon-lit tiles announcing its presence boldly. The interior is dimly lit but spacious, and the service staff strive to provide amicable service. The food here is not fantastic overall,... More

I saw this so many creatives displays and decided to try some Taiwanese food. But ends up disappointed. I have the tried the beef noodles. It comes out, less meat and much more with the beef fats. The overall taste is not just my standard, glad the strawberry yogurt compensate it. I paid SGD 22 for the entire food experience,... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
