Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Pleasantly tranquil, even on a Saturday night. Satay stalls have smoke in the air. Seat yourself on the other side, away from the smoke. Good food options too. Veg n rice to go with the charcoaled meat.

We ate at a few of the stalls here. We got prawn dumplings from the dumpling house. They were Luke warm which was not great. Taste wise they are good and the girl was warm and friendly. Some tomago mentai from mentai-ya which was delicious...but the young bloke was quite rude. Didn’t take his head off of his mobile phone screen, I ordered, he grunted and didn’t smile so he absolutely needs a lesson in customer service! Then once my food was prepared he tossed it on the counter and advised it was ready via another grunt. We also ordered 15 chicken satay sticks from city satay and this place was the clear winner! Delicious. Highly recommend This place. A hot day and they are coming over the bbq cook prices. Very welcoming as well. Clean area the whole food court is clean but it’s open to the wind and heat. Big fans provide. A little relief.More

Mmm. The best compliment I can give this canteen style, open air food court is that it’s cheap. But, a few improvements much needed: 1. All of the cups and cutlery are disposable plastic. So bad and not acceptable in 2024 when paper, bamboo etc....disposables are widely available. Secondly, I had the misfortune to drop my Satay on my dress and asked the lady at Huan Huan Satay for a serviette with some water on it. NO! was the reply - so unhelpful. 3. There are flies everywhere including on all the food. Suggest environmental health tighten up the whole place.More

We walked here after our visit to the Gardens By the Bay, Flower Dome, and Cloud Forest. It is covered, but not air conditioned. Lots of food install options, as well as drinks. Got some satays from Geylang Serai Satay (reviewed separately), and a dragon...fruit drink from the Fruit Juice stall. Very nice break from walking all day.More

An absolute disgrace of customer service by the one taking the order at HUAT HUAT SEAFOOD Satay by the Bay (short girl from Myanmar). No customer service at all, never even once stood still to greet you or listen to you ! The rudest most...unprofessional attitude by a counter staff. She shouts back at you saying she can hear your order as she continues moving around. “ I can hear you ! You can just tell me what you want !! “ .. when I waited for her to make some kind of eye contact to ask her a question about an ingredient. So insulting and gross behaviour !!More

Seafood dishes, noodles and various kinds of satay are available here. Clean and comfortable place, service is also good. Enough as a place to rest while having lunch.

There’s a lovely view from the bar across some pools. We always used the bar seating, it was the most comfortable option, and it’s nice to have a beer with lunch. So we are sorry to see the changes this year. Visitors can choose crowded...bar stools or unusually low chairs, which makes the table too high, and it’s awkward to eat food. The stools certainly pack visitors in. I reckon I get 4 times the space at Tiong Bahru market, and the drinks are half the price! During our meal they turned the music up from pleasant to having to raise our voices to talk over it. The music was pleasant, but too loud by the time we left. Plenty of tasty options for food, we bought from the Japanese stall, and enjoyed salmon with noodles. Very good quality. It’s worth a visit, but may be best to avoid the bar area.More

The Turkish/Indian place is very poor. Food was not what we ordered, cold and poorly presented. Singapore is such a great place with lovely people but these guys are just there to make money and rip you off, Avoid

This is a great place to have lunch/dinner if you are visiting Gardens by the Bay for several hours. It is about a 15 minute walk from the Cloud Forest Dome but it is all level walk. There are many hawker food stalls here that...serve a variety of Singapore food as well as plenty of tables but it does get rather busy here so others may end up asking to share your table if you have room. We walked around as it was difficult to decide but there were plenty of visual pictures to show what foods were available to order. We ended up ordering from City Satay-- 10 skewer satay sticks of beef and chicken-- a Malaysian speciality. It also came with their special dipping sauce as well as chopped red onions and cucumbers on the side. You need to purchase your cold can drinks in separate drink stands. Very convenient place for a quick meal.More

I’m not sure why, but prior to visiting we had the expectation that Satay by the Bay was a restaurant. This is not the case! It is a variety of shacks serving a host of Asian cuisine and drinks, under a deli-style covering with benches...to eat at. We tried food from a couple of the places. The satay we had was delicious and it came with some rice. The satay sauce was really tasty and it was good value for money! We had some fresh mango and a mango smoothie, both of which were nice. Aside from the food, the place itself has seen better days, and the bar sends people out walking the tables to sell drinks, which came across a little pushy after her second visit to our table! While the food we had was good, the whole place was just a very different vibe to the rest of the gardens. We ate elsewhere on an evening visit, which was much better!More

Kin Aroy Thai cuisine - false advertising. Oyster omelette was just a greasy omelette (no salt nor pepper) with about six small oysters (cheap frozen ones) thrown in. No topping of scallions (scallions is a mandatory ingredient for this dish) nor chillies as pictured on...their billboard. If you want to feel like a sucker, go ahead and buy from this stall.More

We visited Satay by the Bay in May 2023. Satay by the Bay is situated within the Gardens by the Bay area. It's quite a long walk from the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome - closer to the Supertrees, but worth the wander. We bought...some delicious satay sticks with rice. There were several vendors in the area with different offerings and plenty of options are available to cater to different tastes.More

Food court the Gardens By the Bay, tourist price but could be a quick fix for people who ate there and don’t wish to travel around looking for food. There are a couple of satay stalls, one Chinese stall with pork satay and also Muslim...stall for halal satays. There are also other local dishes, Thai cuisine & beers for people to chill out with.More

Like others has stated - you might find a few of the stalls closed but there should be enough open for you to have a great selection to choose from.
