The chicken with black nut was truly new and different. The staff were extremely friendly and very concerned that you enjoy your experience. The satay was crispy and moist all at the same time. And, the piano was an unexpected gift. The food was as...More

Beware ill tempered negative reviews from TripAdvisor amateurs. This restaurant fully justifies its Michelin Bib Gourmand status. The food and the presentation is excellent and the setting and the ambience are exceptional. Value for money is of the highest. There are complaints about the add-ons....More

This is the real thing. Peranakan home-cooked food served in an authentic and beautiful setting. The food is spicy, but the beer is ice cold. The service was helpful and gave us good recommendations for folks unfamiliar with Peranakan dishes.

We had the set lunch menu. It was bland and very ordinary. The beautiful setting did not offset the common food.

So many up and down reviews. Would love to know what citizens of Singapore think. Having lived there, we had many good recommendations from locals. American girl learned to make lahksa and otak-otak.

They do tend to over over recommend certain dishes and will presume you can't handle the heat. so if you know the cuisine and have a broad pallet let them know. In my opinion it's worth a visit.
