Was staying next door on a business trip and was hungry for dinner early. Only person in the place and after being seated, waited 15 minutes than had to get up and ask for a beer. Food was good but expensive. After eating, had to get up again and ask for the check. 8 workers standing around talking to each... More

that was quite a stroke of serendipity to come across that Japanese restaurant as we walked along the river towards Clarkes quay where we thought we could find restaurants opened late (10.00pm after a movie at Great World City). The restaurant manager is a lovely helpful lady and she explained the somewhat illegible menu while letting us taste the house... More

This is a place to go for decent value family style good Japanese casual food in a relaxed setting. The okonomiyaki here is nice and it's fun to cook at the table with your group. This restaurant is not fine dining and you should order lots of dishes for the table and share. It is child friendly and there is... More

A less than 10 minutes walk from The Hideaways Club apartment in The Trillium, through the serene King Seng Park to the Japanese restaurant in the Grand Copthorn Hotel is a Great Bonus. The fantastic delicacies recommended by the stewardess were as outstanding - mackerel sushi, different sashimi, salads, aubergine, asparagus with seafood such as octopus and wagyu beef servings... Stopped here for dinner on a recent trip to Singapore. This restaurant is on the Singapore River, located at the back of the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel. The restaurant was busy, especially the outdoor seating area. The menu has a mix of Japanese styles, including sushi. My order, titled something like, Three Kinds of Sashimi, was $35 SGD or about... Came with Japanese nationals though we could have coped easily without but as we wanted a couple of different dishes it helped. Quality superb, service spot on and price inc a bottle of wine was really good, 170 dollars for 5! Definitely worth a visit

a Japan connoisseur colleague took us to this restaurant at the river. it is frequented mostly by japanese people so I always consider that as a good reference Contrary to other remarks here we got excellent service at the tepan yaki table. Wonderful combination of excellent cooked food, great atmosphere, highly recommended!

I've been living next to this restaurant for 10 years and never knew this place existed till a friend brought me here, go figure Interesting set-up, each table has its own teppanyaki hot plate, and i believe the original intention was to have each diner cook his or her own okonomiyaki and instructions are written in the menu. They underestimated... More
