This place was used to be one of the best paper wrapped chicken in town and they even had a branch at Holland Village at one time but that closed down after a couple of years as they moved back and concentrated back along Clementi Road at its current premises. The quality and quantity of the food has ghastly depreciated... More

I love this place and the food is wonderful and delicious .....can't find any other place and food in Singapore that is so uniquely and tasty. I will surely recommend to all my friends to visit this place and try their noodles and chicken wrap. Not forgetting, parking is free!!!

Some local friends recommended Union Farm Eating House. It is a shocking place when you pull in! It is outdoor and looks like something from the 1950's. It is odd especially against the neighboring university's extremely modern architecture. The food was delicious too. We had black chicken soup, grilled prawns, another wrapped chicken dish, and some veggies. It was fun... More

It has a very traditional environment that tourists/ young locals should visit to experience what buildings were like in Singapore prior to modernisation. The highlight of this place would definitely be the paper chicken. It is extremely fragrant and goes very well with plain beehoon/noodles, along with a fresh coconut. However, it is a little too oily for me and... More

The ambience is really great, having the genuine & uncontrived atmosphere of an old farmhouse or kampung. I might say that the ambience trumped the quality of food here as it tasted like home-cooked food or what my mother would actually cook, unless that is what you're really looking for. Of course the paper-wrapped chicken is the must-try here, although... More

Their famous paper chicken is too sweet to my liking. The dry noodles are too blend. They only added oil. And with a few pcs of vegetables, it costs $3.50

A little quaint idyllic setting amidst the modernised surrounding of SIM, that is the most it could offer. Food is average, if not mediocre! Price does not justify for quality of food!

~This was such an easy rating if I had no clue what this food meant to the hardworking people who built this country and to those who enjoyed early success in old Singapore. Union Farm is a culinary legend that managed to preserve just what good food meant to folks used to a kampong lifestyle and it breaks my heart... More

Looking for an experience and taste of 1950s? Then Union Farm Eating House is the place to visit. You will instantly be transported back to the days when life was slower and smart devices didn't rule our lives. The dishes on offer are the standard Chinese fare with the speciality being the Chicken Wrapped in Paper (Chee Pow Kai). The... More
